THE CASE FOR HYDROPONIC FARMS IN SINGAPORE’S FOOD SECURITY REIGN GEOPONICS is set to play a major role in Singapore’s food security in the forthcoming year as we seek to boost local production of vegetables by at least 3%. We will accomplish this using advance farming technology from the United States at our vertical hydroponic farms, which are a first in Singapore. The technology, Vertical Hydroponics Farming Technology (VHFT), is tried and tested and has been employed successfully in farms in the United States. It will help our farms to significantly increase local production, which, according to data from the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority (AVA), supplied 8% of the 522,522 tonnes of vegetables consumed in Singapore last year. Vertical hydroponics farming yields fully grown vegetables in 28 days, compared to between 40 days and two months under conventional vertical farming methods. When they are running at full capacity, Reign Geoponics farms will generate revenues in excess of $7.2 million a year, delivering profit margins of about 400%. We have started cultivating basil and mint, and by next month will have a fuller suite of lettuce, green vegetables, salad greens, chillies and black garlic. WHY REIGN GEOPONICS FARMS WILL YIELD HIGHER RETURNS Growing vegetables skywards is not a new concept in Singapore, but vertical hydroponic farming is. Instead of soil, hydroponics uses mineral nutrient solutions in water as a media to grow better quality vegetables. And unlike other similar vertical hydroponic systems that cultivate greens in horizontal trays, Reign Geoponics employs towers that are installed straight up. This means we can grow more vegetables in a smaller space area. 10 Genting Road, #04-00 The Blue Building, Singapore 349473

THE CASE FOR HYDROPONIC FARMS IN SINGAPORE’S FOOD SECURITYREIGN GEOPONICS is set to play a major role in Singapore’s food security in the forthcoming year as we seek to boost local production of vegetables by at least 3%.

WHY REIGN GEOPONICS FARMS WILL YIELD HIGHER RETURNSGrowing vegetables skywards is not a new concept in Singapore, but vertical

hydroponic farming is.

In land-scarce Singapore, this will not only give us the edge in yielding higher

returns but supply vegetables at competitive market rates for consumers. The crops will come from 12,000 towers at our two farms at D’Kranji Farm Resort. Farm 1 at 119 Neo Tiew Lane 1 is our biggest facility and a third of the 30,000

square feet land area will be used as a test bed for medicinal herbs that can be grown at our facilities.

Occupying a total 12,000 square feet Farm 2 at 10 Neo Tiew Lane 2 is already operational and growing basil and mint. Seedlings of other greens will be added.

FUTURE GROWTH: INDOOR AND ROOFTOP FARMING AND REGIONAL EXPANSIONThe next step for Reign Geoponics is indoor farming. The technology is already

available from the AVA and private sector, and we plan to acquire a 100,000-square-feet property in Tuas. With the Government also exploring rooftop farming, this is an opportunity for Reign Geoponics to take the lead in the urban farming industry.

Our growth is not limited to Singapore and we intend to expand our operations in the region. Johor Baru in Malaysia is our first stop in 2016.

WHY INVESTING IN REIGN GEOPONICS FARMS IS A SMART BETA MAJOR trend is evident globally: Lands are being cleared in many countries as new towns and cities emerge to accommodate growing populations. The impact is less agricultural land for crops to meet the growing world demand for food.

Developing solutions that can overcome this problem by producing more affordable quality crops on shrinking land spaces is an opportunity for investors to yield good returns for their money.

This is what Reign Geoponics is offering investors because the solution gaining momentum in countries and cities around the world facing a land crunch is vertical farming. It can produce more crops in smaller spaces than conventional farming.

SINGAPORE A RISING WORLD LEADER IN URBAN FARMINGGlobal authority Urban Agriculture Network has already declared Singapore as a

potential world leader in some aspects of urban agriculture. The country took this first step in 2012 when it rolled out the world's first

commercial vertical farm. The next key step is to harness hydroponic technology to increase yield and Reign Geoponics farms are the first in Singapore to do this.

It is the way forward and there are two key reasons why.First, vegetables grown on hydroponic farms are ready for harvest at least two

weeks earlier, than those seeded on soil. This means more produce can be supplied to the market in any given year, maximising returns for investors.

Second, hydroponic technology has no need for pesticides, which is necessary for soil-based crops to rid them of pests. This paves the way for its wider use in commercial urban farming, especially on the rooftops of residential buildings.

WHAT PARTNERING REIGN GEOPONICS MEANS FOR YOUR MONEYAs countries race to find answers to produce more crops in smaller plots of land,

experts are pointing to investing in commodities as a means to maximise returns. When you invest in Reign Geoponics, you are not only partnering an industry that

is set to be the next international boom but a company that is continuously sourcing for the latest technologies to give investors an edge on their investments.

Vertical hydroponic farming is only the first step for Reign Geoponics. Taking this technology indoors, it presents the opportunity to produce high-end crops such as medicinal herbs, mushrooms and black garlic that can yield ten times their cost.

As we cast our nets beyond Singapore, plans are also under way to invest in a factory in Ulu Tiram, Johor, to provide seedlings and nutrients for urban farmers.

On the drawing board are also investments in better seeding technology, and aquaponic and aeroponic farming that can grow two crops in a single tower.

THE TEAM BEHIND REIGN GEOPONICS

IN TAKING urban vertical farming in Singapore to the next level, Reign Geoponics has employed the services of experts in the field of agriculture and vertical farming.

The company is led managing director Oommen Mathews, who has extensive experience in aqua farming.

He was previously the founding member and chief investment officer of RBI Holdings, and helped the aquaculture company to phenomenal growth.

Mathews also has more than a decade of experience in property investments and has conducted seminars to help investors understand the benefits of making the right decisions that can pay healthy dividends.

In his drive to create investment opportunities, Mathews has been studying the role urban farming plays in a country’s food security, which is a pressing problem in many countries today.

He has also consulted experts in Singapore and overseas on the best methods to constantly supply fresh, healthy crops to consumers, especially those who live in crowded cities where land for agriculture is in short supply

It has taken him to Israel and United States to source out the latest technologies and efficient methods that can yield the best harvests.

He chose the Vertical Hydroponics Farming Technology (VHFT) from Houston, United States, which he believes best fits the needs of Singapore and the region.

In Singapore, Mathews also consulted agricultural experts, especially in urban farming, and they will help chart Reign Geoponics growth as the company continue to upgrade its technology in the coming years.

One of these experts is Isaac Mann, who will head the farming and distribution operations of Reign Geoponics.

Working with a team of experts in hydroponics, aquaponics, vertical farming and agricultural research, Mann will help keep the company on the leading edge of technology to help our farms yield the best harvest and results.
