Input Device The input unit is formed by the input devices attached to the computer. Ex - Keyboard, Microphone etc. An input unit takes the input & converts it into binary form so that it can be understood by the computer. Output Device The devices which are used to display the data to the user either in the form of hard copy or soft copy are called output devices. Example printer, monitor, speaker, headphone, Output Anything that comes out of a computer . Output can be meaningful information or gibberish, and it can appear in a variety of forms -- as binary numbers, as characters , as pictures, and as printed pages.
