AAAAAerosun Corporation is a high and new

technology company based on the space

technology and application, and it is a large-

sized state-owned company subordinated to

China Aerospace Science and Industry Group.

Aerosun Corporation is approved as the National

First-Class Enterprise and evaluated as one of

the top 100 enterprises in the mechanical

industry of China, possessing strong power of

scientific research, production and management.

The company is originated from Jinling Machine

Manufacturing Works, which was established in

1865 at the period of Westernization Movement

in the Qing dynasty. Then, after P. R. China was

founded, Nanjing Chenguang Machine Works

was constructed, which was subordinated to the

former Ministry of Weapon Industry and the

Ministry of Aerospace successively. Based on

Nanjing Chenguang Machine Works, Aerosun Corporatation

was set up, and now has become a large-sized integrated

machinery manufacturing enterprise.

Aerosun Corporation Art Statue Division is specialized in

artistic statue production as well as design and construction of

statue engineering. The technical power of the Art Statue

Division is strong, the technical level is superior, the production

equipment is excellent, and the quality system is intact. It is

one of the enterprises manufacturing metal arts, in which the

comprehensive power is the strongest in our country currently.

Aerosun Corporation Art Statue Division has rich experience

of building bronze statues with more than forty meters in height,

possesses the qualified certificates of installing large-sized

bronze statues and steel structures, which were issued by the

Ministry of Construction of the People’s Republic of China.

The products of the large-sized bronze statues have been

awarded the Gold Medal of the National Quality Prize.

The Art Statue Division of Aerosun Corporation is originated

from the Blazing Copper Plant of Jinling Machine Manufacturing

Works. The Art Statue Division has a long history of making

For example, it made the copper “Xiao Jing Ding” for the Sun

Yat-sen Mausoleum. In the 1960s, it manufactured all the

embossed balusters for the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge. In

the middle and late 1980s, it

successfully completed the

Hong Kong, which is 26.4

meters in height and was the

design, civil design, art and environmental design, sculpture lofting,

engineering survey, art casting, art forging, steel structure

manufacturing and installing, field weld fixing, surface treatment,

gilding, after-sale services, etc. It has passed the ISO9001 quality

system certification. The products of art statues and art statue

engineering of the Art Statue Division are widely used for religions,

tourism, commemorative activities, urban architectures, sculptures,

construction upholstering, and other fields. The products are sold

to overseas countries such as U.S.A., Holland, Russia, Japan,

Singapore, Thailand, Korea, Indonesia, Nepal, etc., and sold to all

regions in our country, including Hong Kong Special Administrative

Region, Macao Special Administrative Region, and Taiwan Region.

Besides the project of the Buddha in Hong Kong Temple of Heaven,

the Art Statue Division has successively completed some large

projects based on the space technology, such as the Buddha in

Betong, Thailand (Height: 14.4 m), the Lingshan Buddha in Wuxi,

China (Height: 88 m), the Statue of Lao Tzu in Maoshan, Jiangsu

province (Height: 28 m), the Statue of Kwan-yin in Macao (Height:

20 m), the Buddha in Nanshan, Shandong province (Height: 28 m),

the Buddha Maitreya in Chiang Rai, Thailand (Height: 19 m), the

Statue of ZHENG Cheng-gong in Quanzhou, Fujian province (Height:

28 m), the trihedral Statue of Kwan-yin in Hainan province (Height:

108 m), the Puxian Bodhisattva in Emei mountain, Sichuan province

(Height: 42 m), the Gold Buddha in Chongqing (Height: 20 m), the

Great Buddha in Bhutan (Height: 42 m), the Great Buddha in Nepal

(Height: 20 m), and so on. These large projects have become the

symbol works of the Art Statue Division. Especially in 2003, the Art

Statue Division undertook the project of “Nine Dragons Filling the

Bath” in Lingshan, Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, which was 26 meters in

height. It created the history of dynamic group sculpture in the

field of bronze art statues. And the project indicates the perfect

integration of traditional culture and modern technology.

The Art Statue Division successfully made the copper statues of

MAO Ze-dong, ZHOU En-lai, DONG Bi-wu, QU Qiu-bai, PEN De-

huai and LIU Bo-cheng for the commemorative activities of their

100th birthday which were approved by the Ministry of

Communication of the Party’s Central Committee. These statues

have great effects on the visitors at the hometowns of these giants

and throughout our country. In 1997 and 1999, the Art Statue Division

was appointed by the State Council to manufacture the Golden

Bauhinia That Blooms Forever, a national gift to Hong Kong by

China Central Government for celebration of Hong Kong’s return

back to China, and to manufacture the Flourishing Lotus, a national

gift to Macao by China Central Government for celebration of

Macao’s return back to China. They are highly appraised by the

relevant state departments and all persons both at home and abroad.
