Project Insights:

Home and Community Based Services - Adult Mental Health (HCBS-AMH).

The HCBS-AMH Program was created in response to a mandate from the 83rd Texas Legislature.

This project will automate the business processes of the HCBS-AMH program in the CMBHS system.

The functionality will allow HCBS-AMH providers to use CMBHS to document required client information for the HCBS-AMH program and submit claims for payment.

8/14/2019 15

Objectives – Plan, analyze, estimate and execute the change requests prioritized

by BHS Program area staff and other internal customers.

08/23 - This Release will deploy MH Grants (HB 13) feature set. Includes functions needed for Grants recipients to report performance measures and access basic clinical documentation. This is also the last planned release for the CMBHS Roadmap project and will deploy the functionality to allow Requests for Prior Authorization and Claims to be submitted directly from CMBHS to TMHP for SUD Medicaid Fee for Service Clients only.

09/13 - Maintenance release pushed back from 08/23, to meet other CMBHS timelines. Additionally, since all of these releases impact the same code base, breaking up the releases up will help us keep the code base stable during this very busy time.

10/11 - This will be a maintenance and support release. Scope for this release is TBD in the coming weeks.
