Carpet Walking You have the option of letting the floor coverings of theexhibition stand run into the corridors by laying out theedges of the corridors with fire-retardant floor coveringsof your choice. In the middle of the hall aisle we will layour coconut runners or carpet tiles as a neutral distinctionbetween the different floor coverings of the individualexhibitors. Delivery and removal of goodsduring the show
Movement of goods in Oriental section during the show: 6 p.m. - 9 a.m. and 1 - 2 p.m. On the last day of the show, morning delivery and pick-upof goods only permitted up to 9 a.m. Please ensure that your stand has sufficient space forstoring your goods. Under no circumstances may palletsbe left in aisles or lobbies, or in front of neighboringstands. Emergency escape routes must be kept free atall times. In cases or violations, Deutsche Messe will seta deadline for the removal of pallets/goods, after whichthey will be removed and stored at the expense of theexhibitor. These charges will be included in statement forany supplementary services ordered. Pallets/goods will bereturned only if sufficient space is available to store themwithin the stand.For interim storage see "forwarding agencies"
Disconnection of utilityservices
Disconnection of utilities prior to the end of the show is notpermitted. For safety reasons, only authorized DeutscheMesse staff is permitted to disconnect utility servicesto stands. You can avoid delays in having the utilitiesdisconnected by making an appointment well in advance. Exhibitors are emphatically warned not to disconnector shut off supply lines themselves. Removal of goods after theshow
Signs marked "LKW" (German abbreviation for "trucks")are posted along all approach routes, showing driverswhere to go. Removal vehicles will be directed by trafficwardens to a specified marshaling area for interim paidparking. Transport vehicles will be granted entry to the exhibitiongrounds as of 8:00 p.m. on the last day of the show. Please contact your own haulage contractor well inadvance of the dismantling date to arrange for the removalwork and the supply of fork lifts and other transportequipment.

Urban trains & trams See "Public transport to the show"
Vehicle access On the final day of the construction period, cars, vansand similar vehicles will may only enter the grounds for amaximum of three hours against payment of a refundabledeposit of €100. Trucks as well as cars pulling trailers will be permittedto enter the grounds via all open entrances in order todeliver exhibits and related materials throughout the entireconstruction period (i.e. also the final day), provided theyhave a total loading capacity of over 3.5 tons. The German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO -"Straßenverkehrsordnung") apply. Drivers must give awayto the right; there are no priority roads. The speed limit of20 kilometers per hour must be strictly observed.

Working hours The exhibition grounds and the halls are open 24/7. At thelast day before the fair starts, the construction must befinished at 18:00 hrs. By law, the maximum working periodis limited to 10 hours/day, also during construction anddismantling periods. If your company has a registered office in Germany, thatoffice can also obtain work permits by applying to therelevant state authority. No special work permit is requiredfor tradeshow work on Sundays or public holidays.
