B.1 Infor EAM The modifications and enhancements added to Infor EAM v10.1.2 involve several new enhancements. What follows is a module-by-module breakdown:

B.1.1 Administration Module

Report Organization Structure Screen A System Administrator uses a “tree structure” with “drag & drop” functionality to create, view and/or modify an organizational structure to be utilized in rolling up reporting on performance statistics, resource utilization, etc.

Its initial purpose is to support the new PAS-55 feature of Infor EAM where the organizational structure may be defined that controls the roll-up of energy consumption. For example, the reporting structure for energy consumption might roll up like this:

Operational Area Facility Campus State Country Continent World-wide

Note: This addition is for future use. The data configured on this screen is not currently used by any base Infor EAM report.

B.1.2 Equipment Module

Asset Management Policy Policy Screen

Used to record a corporate or enterprise-wide initiative such as corporate commitment to energy performance improvement.

Strategy Screen Used to record a corporate or organizational strategic initiative such as the corporate commitment to reduce electrical consumption. Objective Screen Used to record a management tactical initiative such as the reduction of electrical consumption at a facility by a specific amount (or percentage) by a certain date. The Objective typically will specifically state “what” results are expected and “when” the results are expected. The Objective does not state “how” the results will be accomplished, deferring to the CPR (Plan) screen for that component.

Energy Targets Tab of Objectives Used to record energy-specific targets in support of an objective. As the scope of the Policy/Strategy/Objective structure in Infor EAM broadens into additional areas (cost control, green initiative, etc.) it is expected that a new tab (similar to this tab) will be created that incorporates the targets of that initiative into the Policy/Strategy/Objective structure.

Capital Planning Request Screen Added six new fields

Objective Objective Description Objective Org. ROI % (Return of Investment) NPV (Net Present Value) IRR % (Internal Rate of Return)

Asset Inventory Asset Inventory has been introduced to perform periodic asset audits. This functionality will let the user perform asset audits to reconcile online asset’s physical location with the actual physical location of the asset. The counting criteria can be setup on this screen based on which list of assets in the specified location will be generated. The actual counting can then be performed either by using a handheld device, iPad or manually. The counted data will then be reconciled, for the user to view and approve the count. This screen has 2 tabs, the Parameters tab and the Inventory results

Parameters The Parameters tab is where the initial asset inventory setup is done. The session ID, which will be the unique identifier number, will be generated by the system once the user creates a session.

1. The Physical Location Type should be the first selection made. This will specify if the asset inventory is being performed on a ‘Location’ or ‘Position’. Once a Physical Location Type is selected, the Physical Location Parent will show all the Positions or Locations in EAM.

2. The Mobile and iPad options control how the asset inventory is performed outside EAM. If the Blind Inventory checkbox is checked, it indicates that the assets being generated on the Results tab will NOT be available on the mobile device. The iPad options are discussed further on this release note.

3. The other optional fields on this screen are the Asset related fields which will narrow down the list generated on the Inventory results tab. The Standard WO field under the Asset inventory generation option should be entered if there are any Move work orders to be performed.

Note: Once the user “Creates a Session”, all the fields on this tab will be protected. The only changes that can be made are on the Inventory Results tab, as long as the status of the session is Unfinished. If the Session is Approved or Cancelled, no changes can be made to the session.

Inventory Results Based on the selection and setup on the parameters tab, the list of assets in the Position or Location will be generated. The list will include all Assets that are in the Hierarchy below at any level, for the selected Physical Location Parent which can be either a:

Location – All asset records which have the specified Location populated and the Dependent checkboxes are turned off.

Position – All asset records which have the specified Position populated.

There are 3 dataspies available to sort the asset records.

The default dataspy is ‘Needs Resolution’ – This will show all asset records which need to be updated or moved i.e. all asset records which have a System Physical Location populated and which do not have an Observed Physical Location populated.

The ‘Resolved dataspy’ will list all asset records which either have been moved or updated.

The All records dataspy will list all the asset records

Once an asset record or multiple asset records are selected using the ‘Select checkbox’ the following actions can be performed:

Update System with Observed Physical Location: For all the selected asset records, this will update the System Physical Location with the Observed Physical Location on the Asset screen and on the grid. The system also updates the ‘Inventory Verification Date’ on the asset screen with the inventory verification date on the grid. Once an asset has been moved, the resolution will be set to ‘Physical Location Updated’. Note: Once a resolution has been set by the system the record can be viewed under the ‘Resolved’ dataspy

P r o p r i e t a r y I n f o r m a t i o n

INFOR EAM V10.1.2 PRODUCT RELEASE NOTES 8

Create Move WO(s): For all the selected asset records, the system will create a Work Order with the details of the standard work order entered on the Parameters screen. This action cannot be performed if no Standard WO is entered in the parameters tab.

Add Asset to List: This can be used to add an Asset, which was not generated as part of the session. An example would be an asset observed in the specified Location or Position, but is recorded in the system in a different Location or Position.

Approve Session: Sets the status of the Session to ‘Approved’ and protects all the fields. For all records where the System Physical Location is the same as the Observed Physical Location, the resolution is set to Approved. If the asset was not found during the inventory (Blank ‘Observed Physical Location’) the resolution is set to ‘Asset not found’

Cancel Session: Sets the status of the Session to ‘Cancelled’ and protects all the fields.

iPad Options The Asset Inventory functionality available in EAM can also be performed using an iPad. All the functionalities mentioned above can be performed, except Approving or cancelling a session. The move and update functionalities can also be performed if the checkboxes are checked in EAM. The following is a summary of what can be performed using the iPad

• View assets which are part of a session • Ability to check assets which were found during inventory count • Ability to uncheck assets which were not found during inventory count (Mark as ‘Not Found’) • Ability to add new assets which were not part of the session • Update the assets physical location with observed location • Create a Move Work order to move asset from observed location to system location

B.1.3 Base Module Extensibility Framework Infor EAM Extensibility Framework allows custom actions to be performed to the existing screens/tabs delivered with the product. Such an action can be triggered by a change made to a field in a screen/tab or an action made through a toolbar button access. This allows customers to compute field values, verify input, etc. with external applications prior to the normal flow of actions by Infor EAM, though there are restrictions. For this purpose, customers need to do the following steps in order to enable the Extensibility Framework: 1. A Javascript file for each screen/tab which customers want to perform custom actions. 2. A WAR within Infor EAM which interacts with custom Javascript functions and external applications (Web Services.) 3. External applications usually in the form of Web Services which interact with the servlet in the WAR. 4. Changes to the Infor EAM deployment. Detailed instructions are available in the Extensibility Framework whitepaper.

B.1.4 Reliability Planning and Analysis Organization Option A new Organization Option is added to aid the reliability calculations. This Organization Option (RDRVPM) controls whether PM work orders and Maintenance pattern work orders should be included in

INFOR EAM V10.1.2 PRODUCT RELEASE NOTES 9

the calculation or not. The default setting for this Organization Option will be ‘YES’, include PM work orders.

Reliability Calculations Each work order, if included in the calculations, will generate three types of records. One for the specific combination of closing code 1 and 2 (Record type 1), one for the specific closing code 1 but any closing code 2 (type 2) and one for any closing code 1 and closing code 2 combination (type 3). Since we possibly do this for the asset and the related functional position each work order may lead to 6 record in the new R5reliability table. The following reliability numbers are calculated:

• Sequence number of the event

• Days since previous event (Relative Days)

• Based on these Relative days:

o MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) = average days between events

o Minimum number of days between events

o Maximum number of days between events

o Standard Deviation

o Last slope (linear regression) through the last two events

o Average slope (linear regression)

o Weibull probability distribution

Shape parameter or Beta

Scale parameter or Eta

Correlation

o Crow-Amsaa

Slope

Intercept

• And based on cumulative days rather than relative days recalculate and store

o Laplace time series analysis

o Last slope cumulative through the last two events

o Average slope cumulative

o Weibull probability distribution

Shape parameter or Beta cumulative

Scale parameter or Eta cumulative

Correlation cumulative

o Crow-AMSAA

Slope cumulative

Intercept cumulative

For Part Failures similar numbers are calculated. Part Failure records are included in the calculation if they reference a failure location. Note that it is not relevant whether this is a PM work order or not. A part failure recorded against a PM work order will be included, regardless the setting on the Organization Option RDRVPM. At this time the system will calculate the same three record types for both the asset and position of the work order.

B.1.5 Infor EAM Energy Performance Management Module Introduction This release adds a new Energy Performance Management Module to Infor EAM. The Energy Performance Management Module is a combination of the well-known Infor EAM capabilities in the energy arena and the newly integrated in ENX product that focuses on sustainability tracking and reporting. The Energy Performance Management Module combines EAM and ENX functions on a comprehensive menu structure that can be applied to any Oracle environment, whether it is a fresh install or an existing database.

Asset and Position screen A new section is introduced on the Asset and Position screen called Energy Performance. In this section you will find new fields that are relevant for the Energy Performance alerts that were introduced.

Alert Management screen A total of seven standard alerts have been preconfigured. Power Factor, Peak demand and Phase Imbalance are all alerts driven by sub-metered electricity data held in a new table called r5electricitydata. This table is populated from the r5alertdataobj table based on currently used ILON record. The Default ILON alert is replaced by a new alert called Load Actual Consumption from Electricity Data. Here again the new r5electricitydata table is the source of the creation of the Actual Consumption data.

Last but not least an alert is introduced that audits the entered utility invoices and a second one in this area that informs the user of missing invoices.

Configuration File The Energy Performance Management Module configuration can be imported using a standard configuration import file. The import only works on version 10.1.2, but will be upgraded for future releases. At this time the import file is only available for Oracle and only for installations with a default Language of English. Note: Infor EAM for SQL Server does not currently support the Energy Performance Management Module.

B.7.5 Dropped Columns The following table lists columns that have been dropped from existing tables: None

B.8 Installation and Upgrade Considerations The following is a list of considerations when installing or upgrading Infor EAM.

Upgrade Considerations • The menus for the system delivered user groups (R5, R5REQ, R5EMPTY) will be deleted and

recreated with the standard menus for the latest version. No other user groups will be affected and it will be necessary to manually add any new screens to these user group's menus.

• The page layout for the following screens will be deleted and recreated for the following screens for ALL user groups. This was necessary because of extensive changes made to these screens. Any Screen Designer changes that were made for these screens will need to be made again after the upgrade is complete:

o NONE

• Some new tabs that have been added to existing screens will be available to all user groups that have access to the main screen.

• All Dataspies delivered with the system (those belonging to the R5 user) will be deleted and recreated with new default Dataspies. New Dataspies that were created by the R5 user after installation will not be impacted.

• Some custom reports may need to be modified in order to continue working after upgrading.

• A list of changes necessary to run Infor EAM on Microsoft’s Internet Explorer can be obtained from our Support group.

• Some ISO’s exceed the size limits of a standard CD. If it is necessary to burn these ISO’s to disk media, they must be burned to a DVD.

INFOR EAM V10.1.2 PRODUCT RELEASE NOTES 27

• Oracle Forms v8.2 is not supported with this version. The last supported version is Infor EAM v8.5, which has been tested and certified to run with the appropriate Oracle Forms patch.

• It is REQUIRED that each customer request new CD Keys in order to run Infor10 EAM v10.1 or later releases. The CD Key security system was redesigned with the Infor10 EAM v10.1. Using the old style CD Keys may not grant all appropriate features.

• IMPORTANT: Both the Asset Management Services and Fleet Billing functionality are still available in the current release but will be phased out in the future. New development in these areas has been stopped. Customers using Asset Management Services or Fleet Billing must consider phasing out the use of these functions and replace them with the Contract Management functionality instead.
