Ms.  Parry’s    6th  Grade  Math  Class  

Absent  Work  

•  Work  will  be  put  into  folders  every  day  a>er  school.  

•  If  students  are  absent,  they  will  need  to  locate  the  day’s  work  they  missed.    

Materials  

•  Remains  in  classroom  – 2  in  binder  (with  dividers  and  paper)  

•  Take  home  – Folder  with  pockets  

•  List  of  supplies  on  homepage  of      teacher  webpage  

Homework  •  Homework  is  assigned  on  a  as  needed  basis.    •  Students  will  have  a  homework  folder  that  will  need  to  come  to  class  everyday.    

•  Students  will  write  in  their  planners  everyday  if  they  have  homework  or  not.    

TransportaMon  

•  Will  not  change  without  a  signed  note  from  a  parent/  guardian  (with  phone  number)  

TransportaMon  (Car  Riders)  

•  Parents  need  to  have  a  orange  rider  form  in  their  front  window  to  pick  up  children.    –  If  you  do  not  have  the  orange  rider  form,  you  will  have  to  go  in  and  check  your  child  out.    

– Can  not  check  out  a  child  between    2:30-­‐3:00  pm.    

TransportaMon  (Bus  Riders)  

•  Need  to  have  a  card  filled  out  with  the  following  informaMon.  – Student  Name  – Address  – Phone  Number  – Bus  Number  

•  Turn  into  bus  driver.    

Rules  Students  came  up  with  

•  Will  be  updated  with  rules  once  class  starts.    

Banned  Items  

•  No  Gum  •  No  Phones  •  No  Fidget  Spinners  •  No  backpacks        (once  lockers  are  assigned)  

This  is  your  one  warning,  If  I  see  it,  I  take  it.    

Mistakes  •  If  you  make  a  mistake,  you  need  to  realize  what  you  did  wrong  and  fix  it.  

•  We  learn  from  our  mistakes!!!!!  – Never  laugh  or  make  fun  of  someone  who  made  a  mistake  or  can’t  do  it.  

•  Half  done  work  is  not      acceptable!  

Consequences  

•  4  strikes,  You’re  out  – Strike  1:  Verbal  Warning.    – Strike  2:  Hallway  Conference  

•  At  this  point,  you  have  not  corrected  your  behavior.    – Strike  3:  “Take  Space”  (Time  Out)  

• We’ve  talked,  you  sMll  have  not      corrected  your  behavior.  

•  Parent  Contact.  – Strike  4:  Sent  to  SKILLS  

Open  House  

•  If  you  did  not  come  to  open  house,  students  should  get  the  following  papers:  – All  students  

•  Contact  info  paper  •  Supply  list  

– Homeroom  •  Packet    •  Bus  Rider  card  (Bus  Riders  only)  

Lockers  

•  Students  will  have  a  locker  •  Students  will  be  able  to  go  to  their  lockers  3  Mmes  a  day  – Before  Homeroom  – A>er  Lunch  – A>er  School

•  Every  6th  grade  student  will  be  assigned  a  locker.    

•  Students  should  not  share  their  locker  or  combinaMon  with  anyone.    

•  No  backpacks  will  be  allowed        in  class  a>er  lockers        are  assigned.
