Research a topic

• Find a topic that is of interest to you• Minimum 10 slides of information are required• Keep track of all sites you use for your

information (you will need a bibliography)• Be absolutely sure what you want to focus on

and research• Find your information first before you make the

PowerPoint

Making the PowerPoint

• Use subject headings, bullets, subheadings• Include topics and subtopics• Include a title page, bibliography and

conclusion• Insert pictures and an animated GIF from

clipart• Create custom transitions for each slide

• You will create another slideshow that is only 4 slides long

• It will focus on a subtopic related to your main presentation

• Include a title and a link back to your first PowerPoint

• Include a picture• You will present both of these topics to the

class

• Pick a topic that you could easily interview people about.

• Clear it with me first• You can either write down what they say in the

interview, or if possible, you can record them with a camera. Get their permission first.

• Interview at least 5 people. They could be students, teachers, other staff, parents etc.

• No profanity in the videos

• Include slides that have people’s statements or video responses

• Have a concluding statement that corresponds with your overall impression of those you interviewed and your final comments.
