The Indian economy is the second fastest growing economy in the world – and is consequently attracting almost every manufacturer of pumps, valves and process plant systems around

the world. This makes now the ideal time to launch a new pumps, valves and systems show in this rapidly growing industry.

Many enterprises in India, such as foundries, moulders and manufacturers of components and subsystems such as mechanical seals, are already providing a technically competent, skilled and qualified outsourcing option to international manufacturers of pumps, valves and process plant systems.

Now these skills can find a broader audience with the Industrial Pumps Valves & Systems show – launched by the Indian Pump Manufacturers Association (IPMA) in association with Orbitz and taking place from 5-7 October in Hyderabad, India.

The event will include sector-specific buyer-seller meets and international conferences addressing issues of national and global concern such as energy conservation, system optimization, sealing systems, fugitive emissions and environmental control, smart controls for enhanced reliability and safety – all in the context of pumps, valves and process plants and systems.

The growth of pumps, valves and process systems industry depends totally on the growth of other industries such as infrastructure, refinery, chemicals and petroleum. All these sectors including power, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and petrochemicals, are expected to grow at a rapid pace in the next year and all will be featured at the show.

The organizers are expecting 2500+ business visitors from all across the world with more than 100 companies from 11 countries, displaying their latest products. Exhibitors will include providers of pumps, valves and actuators, along with ancillary products such as mechanical seals, couplings, systems based on pumping, drives and controllers, air compressors, control instruments, motors, gas compressors, gear and fear boxes, pipes/oipelines and tubes.

World Pumps spoke to Yogesh Vyas, organizer of the show, about its aims. “The exhibition will provide a much-needed platform for showcasing Indian capabilities and the latest developments and trends around the world in pumps and related areas,” he says. “The Indian pumps and valves market is growing rapidly and matches the pace with international innovation and technology. Thus the aim of the show is to showcase new technology development and existing ranges of products and services in the Indian pumps, valves and systems industry.”

India is the place to be for pumps. A new show, held in Hyderabad in October, will showcase established companies as well as up and coming businesses riding the tide of this rapidly growing industry.

Fluorolined Equipment Pvt Ltd/Investa Pumps Pvt LtdFluorolined Equipment Co. makes PVDF chemical process pumps and vertical submersible pumps, while Investa Pumps Co makes investment cast stainless steel pumps. On display will be the companies’ PVDF pumps and investment cast stainless steel pumps.

Goodwin India Pvt Ltd Goodwin India Private Ltd is a joint venture subsidiary of Goodwin PLC. At the show, it plans to exhibit its Goodwin Make 100 ANZE pump spares and banners. The company also offers a 4 in electrically operated submersible slurry pump and 100 ANZE pump.

Grundfos Pumps India Private Limited

Grundfos India was established in March 1998 and now has 75 distributors and dealers with over 10 offices in India. The company plans to show a variety of pumps,

Minimax manufactures positive displacement type metering pumps. Types of pump on show include plunger, mechanically actuated diaphragm, hydraulically actuated diaphragm, electronic and skid mounted dosing systems along with servicing of dosing pumps.

Murlidhar Engineering Pvt Ltd plans to showcase a specialized

field of business catering to the pump and valve industry. On show will be the company’s direct on line starters up to 50 HP, direct on line pump control units up to 25 HP, direct on line reversing starters up to 25 HP, Star Delta starters up to 100 HP, Star Delta pump control units up to 100 HP and electronic overload relays up to 125 amps.

Shakthi Industrial Pumps

Shakthi plans to launch its new series of industrial pumps at the show – with other products including industrial pumps, centrifugal pumps as per DIN and ANSI, chemical process pumps, paper stock pumps, slurry pumps and mixed flow pumps.
