Industrial Inline Reactor Types

Inline Reactor is categorized into two different type of reactor based upon its working principle

Batch Inline Reactor Continuous Inline Reactor

Batch Inline Reactor

It works on the principle of laboratory bottle roll in which the solid is kept in continuous contact with the liquid.

It comprises of a horizontal drum which keep on rotating at low speed to ensure better performance.

During leaching solution is circulated continuously through the solid in order to add the fresh reagent into the solution

The entire process is comprises of following steps Load concentrate into the reactor drum Add reagent and adjust the initial volume

of the solution Re-circulating solution through the drum Drain drum and clean the solution,

pumping it into the storage tank Empty the solid from the drum and

transfer it to the mill Transfer solution to electrowinning circuit

Continuous Inline Reactor It is usually employed in the extraction of

gold It slurry of gold is feed into the column

where it is de-watered which is controlled through a PID timer loop. The feed is then subject to the drum where it is emptied to extract the pure form of gold.

The extraction of gold is preferred by the elctrowinning technology using Inline Reactor.
