There are no production requirements to get appointed with MetLife to sell life products. OPTION MetLife Referral Program for Agents That Don’t Like to Sell Life Insurance: If you do not like selling life insurance you can simply refer customers to the MetLife Life Insurance Referral team. They will do all the work, make the presentation, close the sale – and once the policy is issued, you own the business. In addition, you’ll receive first‐year and renewal commissions on policies purchased by customers you referred. 10 Year Guaranteed Level Term ‐ 28% 1st yr. 15, 20, 30 Year Guaranteed Level Term – 32% 1st yr.Universal Life – 40% 1st yr. IPA Network Agencies are currently receiving a Super General Agents commission bonus override due to our production level. The commission shown does not include this bonus override. The bonus override differs by product and ranges from 5.0 to 25.0 on 1st year commission, and 0.5 to 1.0 on renewals. Pekin Life is only available to agencies that hold a direct appointment for P&C. Travel awards can be attained by earning a “Silver Key” ($12,500 annual premium and 10 policies), a “Gold Key” (22,000 annual premium and 15 policies), and “Inner Circle” (32,000 annual premium and 15 policies).
