We ‘Felt’:
• In our community there was a lot of differences in sexual population. Population of female is very low because of girl feticide.
• We felt, we should remove this social evil and make awareness among the community people.
• ‘A Boys-Girl ration should be equal.• Spread awareness of stopping girl feticide
among people of village• Make celebration on girl child birth
We ‘Imagined’:
• Rally• Role-Play• Nukkad Natak• Home Visits by Students • Awareness of Boys-Girl Ration
We ‘Did’:
• Community people have understood that Boys-Girl ration should be equal and it is a black spot on society and it should be stopped to kill girl child
• Community members involved and contributed their efforts and now the situation is that whenever any girl takes birth then people celebrate on birth of girl child and there are many homes in the village, where celebration was done on the birth of girl child.
Impact on Community:
• We have promised to make awareness regarding girl feticide on regular basis and promote girl child education also and whenever we receive any invitation of girl child birth, we would attend the function.
