In the streets of elsewhere, my first endeavor is vampire’s own country Romania. Unbeknownst to many, Romania houses many beguiling and picturesque treats. However what appeals me more are the mysteries along with its fascinating history. Apart from the reign count Dracula which quite made its mark on the pop culture worldwide, the soul of Romania lies in the countryside which still cherishes peasant culture. Romania is bound to take you back in time with its famous painted monasteries, hilltop citadels, and virgin forests. What’s more enticing is the strong medieval essence that still prevails nowhere else in Europe but Romania. Be it the vivid imagination and intense spirituality expressed through their architecture treasures, music, crafts, art scenes and traditions or the centuries- old folkloric villages.
