THE FASTEST FAMILY IN FINLAND, Kallio Racing,

is making Nordic motorsport history in season 2017

when it becomes the 1st Nordic team to enter in FIM

Superbike World Championship -series in two classes

FIM Supersport World Championship and FIM Super-

sport 300 World Championship. Kallio Racing team

will be represented by two riders in both classes and

the goal is no less than be in the podium in each and

every race. Which is not far fetched at all, just look at

the amazing wild card race results in the last few races

in season 2016, the know-how and experience of the

team management (Vesa Kallio and Mika Kallio) and

the exceptional rider talent team occupies. THE NEW

MOTORBIKING HISTORY IS IN MAKING.

The World Supersport class features mid-range machines and the bike models are similar to those you can see ridden on the public roads and sold in your local motorbike dealers. This is why the class is often referred to as “manufactured mod-els” world championship. Engine power ranges from 400cc to 750cc, depending on the number of cylinders. In this class Kallio Racing will have 2 talented riders: Finnish Niki Tuuli and South-Afri-can Sheridan Morais.

WORLD SUPERSPORT

The World Supersport 300 class is a new addition to the world championship -series for the season 2017. The class is designed to give a place for the young upcoming riders to show their skills and make their names known throughout the motor-biking world. It will be very exciting to see many new bike models and new young talents master-ing them on the track during the European races of the FIM Superbike World Championship se-ries! In this class Kallio Racing has 2 fresh talents: Finnish Kimi Patova and Brazilian Renzo Ferreira.

THE MOTUL FIM SUPERBIKE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP is split up into various classes in order to encourage fierce competition between a selection of manufacturers and riders of various age groups. All competitors are racing production-based machines that fans can easily relate to their road models.

KALLIO RACING HAS ARRANGED RIDING EVENTS AND TRAININGS FOR VARIETY OF GROUPS SINCE 2007. Safe, fun and engaging events are well-suited and can be designed to meet the needs of both experienced motorbikers as well as the beginners, or any levels in between. We tailor the

content and hospitality services ac-cording to your needs. Bikes, gears, track, you can leave it all for us to take care for and provide. The events hub is Alastaro race track, which is about 2 hr drive from Helsinki. We would love to tell you more and have you to spend an exciting day on the track with us!

ON TRACK WITH VESA KALLIO

HOW DOES IT FEEL WHEN YOU ARE ON A SUPERBIKE ON THE TRACK? No need to wonder more, you can jump on Vesa Kallio’s bike and find out for yourself! Ready? Maybe never but… SET! Grab on to the handles on the specially engineered 200hp Superbike gas tank, put your feet on the foot rests and … GO! Off you go with Vesa around the track. Don’t worry, no previous riding experience is needed, nor the gears, we have it all. Safe-ty briefing with detailed instructions, experi-enced rider and full set of protective gears – of course all inclusive. The experience you will never forget is granted!

KALLIO RACING IS A MOTORBIKE ROAD RACING TEAM, WHICH IS ESTABLISHED AND OWNED BY KALLIO-FAMILY, ORIGI-NATED IN VALKEAKOSKI IN FINLAND.

Mika and Vesa Kallio have been the biggest names in Finnish motorbike road racing for years and inherited their love for two-wheel-ers from their dad Hannu who has over 30 years of experience in motorbiking. After his own career Hannu dedicated his time in building the means of success for his sons Mika and Vesa, who both started racing in

1997. Both rode multiple years in the varie-ty of international series and classes, gained experience and fame all the way to the top of the food chain, MotoGP-series.

Vesa has retired from the rider’s seat and is now full-time team manager for the Kallio Racing’s teams and developer of the young rider talents. His rider merits include 250cc European championship silver medal, sev-eral Finnish championships and starts in Supersport 600cc and 125cc classes world championship series.

Mika is still very much riding, currently act-ing as the test rider for KTM MotoGP facto-ry team. One of the highlights of his career must have been Moto2 World Champion-ship silver medal which he got in 2014.

However Kallio Racing is not just about rac-ing, but wants to spread the joy and thrill of motorbikes to the larger audience via its multiple events and trainings.
