On a standard 64bit system install this is in the following directories depending on whether it is the V5 or V6 platform. C:\..........\B22\win_b64\code\bin\MfgPPIG2Imp.dll C:\..........\B214\win_b64\code\bin\MfgPPIG2Imp.dll Current standard installs from Dassault Systemés have not updated the level of this file to the current level recommended by IMS Software. Today IMS Post Processor products are running at Release level 8.1 whilst the integrated version is at 7.4. IMS recommends that you update your system to run on the latest level of IMS Post Processor software. This can be obtained from the IMS Software website. You need to login using your IMS Software account ID and Password and then select the 'Downloads' tab on the web page. If you do not have a login ID then please request one from the web page. Installation process To install these new codes you first need to 'unzip' the files locally. Then copy them into your system CATIA / DELMIA install directory as discussed previously. The recommendation is to rename the original files to a 'safe' name so you keep the original level of software should it be required again at some point in the future.

IMSpost CATIA V5 and DELMIA V6 Integration Updated October 7, 2013

Integration within Dassault Systems CATIA V5 and DELMIA V6 is achieved through the inclusion of IMS Post Processor run time software embedded within the Dassault Systems product install. On a standard 64bit system install this is in the following directories depending on whether it is the V5 or V6 platform.

    C:\..........\B22\win_b64\code\bin\MfgPPIG2Imp.dll

    C:\..........\B214\win_b64\code\bin\MfgPPIG2Imp.dll

Current standard installs from Dassault Systems have not updated the level of this file to the current level recommended by IMS Software.

    Installation process

To install these new codes you first need to 'unzip' the files locally. Then copy them into your system CATIA / DELMIA install directory as discussed previously. The recommendation is to rename the original files to a 'safe' name so you keep the original level of software should it be required again at some point in the future.

    1) Locate the bin folder in your install of CATIA. (Paths shown as an example of where the files are located on a default install path.) x32 C:\Program Files (x86)\Dassault Systemes\B20\intel_a\code\bin

    x64 C:\Program Files\Dassault Systemes\B214\win_b64\code\bin

    3) Locate the file MfgPPIG2Imp.dll and rename it to append something to the extension so you can save off your current dll in the case that you need it at some future date.

    4) Copy in the dll from the web site which corresponds to your CATIA version (x32 or x64)

    5) Rename the new dll file so that it simply has an extension of .dll

    Confirming correct IMS Software level

To confirm that you have the correct level of IMS Software installed on your CATIA / DELMIA installation you need to run a diagnostic check. This is done from the CATIA / DELMIA NC Code Interactive output panel opened from within an active CATProcess document.

Select the License Diagnostics button and fill out the form to select a location to write your diagnostic file.

The report will then be built and displayed. The first section displays your current embedded IMS Software level.
