impulse the german mittelstands-brandcompany sIzes A view of the structural data shows that impulse is THE medium of the SME sector, the heart of the German economy: according to the Euro-pean Commission‘s definition of SMEs, 94 percent of readers work in small and medium-sized enterprises, the remainder in large companies. Medium-sized (from 10 million euros revenue) and large companies (from 50 million euros) are represented above average: They make up 18 percent of impulse readers. In the German economy as a whole, only 3.6 percent of companies achieve such a revenue, according to figures from the Federal Statistical Office.
