REMOTE CHESS ACADEMY Learning Program Improvement Success In RCA, we treat chess as a tool for developing one’s mental power and a champion psychology. That’s how we help people grow personally, becoming a winner in chess, and in any other activity. We do apply this principle firstly for ourselves, and secondly for our students. That’s why it’s important for you to constantly learn something new, and get better in what you are doing. RCA Learning Program 1. You are suggested to spend 1-6 hours per week for your self-learning. It’s important to keep the balance between theoretical learning, and practical implementation of the new ideas you’ve studied. If you spend 1 hour daily on learning, while the other working time on practical actions – the results will be phenomenal! 2. You’ll get paid for the time you’ve spent on self-education. The payment rate is 50% of your usual hourly payment, but not less than $2.5/hour. In RCA, we want to support your self-learning, and even reward you for that. During your self- learning, you don’t perform any actual work. That’s why it’s compensated at 50% rate compared to your working time. Anyway, it’s cool if you can develop yourself and get paid for it! J 3. Use the “summary & suggestions” file. While learning new materials, you’ll discover lots of useful ideas. You’ll probably come up with some insights yourself as well. It would be very pity to lose these valuable ideas. That’s why I recommend that you write down the key ideas you’ve discovered during your training. Probably you’ll have some practical suggestions for your department or even RCA in a whole. Please, write them down into the same file “summary & suggestions” as well. Later, you’ll share these ideas with your Manager, and after his confirmation, your ideas will be put into practice! 4. Define the topics of your training yourself or consult with your Manager. Which things should you study? Obviously, you may pick the topics that you feel are the most important for your work. Then it will help you to improve your practical results. For instance, you may study: project management, useful ideas implemented on other chess website, sales techniques, copywriting etc. You may also discuss it with your Manager, who may suggest some topics for your self-training. 5. Allocate 30-60 minutes for training REGULARLY. Yes, you might be busy with some ongoing tasks. However, you can’t wait until you “finalize the current tasks” as this time will never come (the current tasks will be replaced by new ones). The only solution is to allocate time for your self-training NOW, and to do so regularly. It’s enough to spend just 30 minutes daily for training, which will not distract you from your work in any way. << Success is only a logical consequence of your self-improvement. >>

In RCA, we treat chess as a tool for developing one’s mental power and a champion psychology. That’s how we help people grow personally, becoming a winner in chess, and in any other activity.

We do apply this principle firstly for ourselves, and secondly for our students. That’s why it’s important for you to constantly learn something new, and get better in what you are doing.

RCA Learning Program

1. You are suggested to spend 1-6 hours per week for your self-learning.
