Duration: 1.5 hours per lesson; 6 lessons in total

This intensive course aims to prepare students for the IGCSE Biology Edexcel exam. Major topics in the Edexcelsyllabus, including animal systems, plant systems and genetics will be covered. Students will become familiar with

the examination format, acquire exam skills and review major topics in the syllabus.

Through hands-on practice, students will gain experience in all the papers that they will take in the coming IGCSE

Biology exam. Emphasis will be placed on comprehension questions that students may not encounter in the regular

biology course; scientific skills (including handling data from science experiments, problem solving, experimental

skills and investigation) are stressed in this paper. During the course, students will be encouraged to discuss the

scientific concepts learned in order to consolidate their knowledge.
