As the holy month of Ramadan has ended, the season has brought in the festive month of Shravana, bringing in several festivals and festivities with it. At FSAI,

the mood is generally upbeat and festive, for several reasons. The course of action charted at the Bangalore EBM is proceeding as laid out, in the recent weeks, we have seen the Working Committee chairs have been appointed, with specific responsibilities for major tasks. I am happy to note that each working committee chairman brings authority and experience in the relevant task, and once they appoint members, the committees will make a sure difference.. We have also seen very interesting events organized by various chapters in the last quarter, and to know that several more events are lined up in the coming months shows the momentum we have gained, and hopefully retain. The successful video conference of the 19th August is an indication that hereafter, we can be in touch more frequently and close several discussions purposefully. Another sense of accomplishment is the revised draft of Memorandum Of Articles has received near consensus from all participants, and with some minor refinements, is expected to be approved in the next governing council meeting. I also see much more to be accomplished in the next Governing Council Meeting scheduled for 27th September at Delhi, and trust that any pending issues will be brought to a purposeful conclusion.
