Its now Adar II, Thirteenth month of the Hebrew Year.

So from that, you can guess how the crops are doing in Israel at the moment. They were just a bit behind, so we have a leap year. That having been said, it was an extremely close call this year. Several more days and some of the crops might have been ready.

If you're new to this, let's fill you in.

Each month of the Hebrew year begins with the sighting of the new "horned" moon. The Hebrew new year (month of Nisan) starts at two potential places:

1. At the end of the twelth month. If the crops are deemed harvestable before the end of the 12th month. Then the next new moon starts the year.This is based on Duet 16:9 that talks about the count of days beginning from when the sickle is put to the crops.

2. At the end of the twelfth month, if the crops are NOT ready, then a thirteenth month is added. Then the next new moon starts the next year.

This is the ONLY factor for determining the new year. Many have added other items and have tried to connect it to the solstice, but this is NOT done by the scriptural instructions.

That having been said, I have observances from two sources for you from Israel.

Abib Report: Thursday March 10, 2016 Hi Folks, Lots to report and show. This time of year things just explode with growth in Israel especially when accompanied with beautiful weather. We decided to check some of the locations in the western Negev we missed on Monday. Very happy we did.

Let’s start with the folks who use domestic barley. Lots for you. The first two pictures are of domestic fields of 2 and 6 row barley turning color from two different locations. One just outside of Sderot and the other just east of Nir Israel. Both are traditionally early areas for

domestic barley. Please notice how they turn first from the high ground and work their way down. All grain does this for the moisture starts to dry from the top down thus forcing the grain higher up to mature more quickly. Always chech the high part of a field first. That will tell you where the field is in the growth stage and where it will be shortly thereafter working the maturing process downhill.

As you can see from the pictures, although some of the crop has reach seed level, you could not step in and begin harvesting the crops. As new moon has already begun in Israel, and the crops are not ready, we add a thirteenth month to the year.

Its that simple.

That's right, Abednego is actually two words and means the servant of Nagava.

Not bad for words that were impossible to decipher huh.

Making a Hebrew CalendarIf you're having trouble with mixing the Hebrew and Gregorian calendars for finding dates, here's something which can help and is a fun project.

We made the above calendar on the computer and then had it laminated. We then grabbed some cheap magnetic sheets from a dollar store and glued it to the magnetic sheets. It will then stick beautifully to the fridge. Then you can stick fridge magnets or other items on it to keep track of the Hebrew dates instead of trying to figure out where it is on the Gregorian Calendar. Total cost $5.00

Faith Means GainSo after much comparative, research and hair pulling, we have finally been

able to establish the correct meaning for a couple of very important words.The first, is Aman !ma You may think you know this as the simple "Amen" after prayer.

What it really means though, has always been a mystery to we modern folk and is translated a whole bunch of different ways in the bible, including...faith.

What does it really mean?

Without much ado, the word means...to obtain.

What? Yep, that's it. When you finish a prayer you are saying...I would like to obtain that.

That of course would be if you were actually using that word. But your not. The word that is used in Hebrew, is Amaha hnma (same word with one more letter) The difference? It means...define to obtain.The answer is : To gain

Now let's not just sit there, but let's apply this to some great sentences,...oh, maybe like stuff Jesus said. How about when he chastized people by saying... Oh you of little faith.

Well that's not what he said, because its not the word faith.

What he was saying, was...Oh you of litttle gain.

He was saying...Man guys, you have all of the instructions to become great from Father and you've gained nothing with it!

He wasn't coming down on them for not having that wispy thing everyone talks about but no one knows how to really get (faith). He was saying...man are you guys lazy!

Wow, doesn't that change things.

So if you have faith as small as a mustard seed....No wait! If I have gain as small as a mustard seed! Wow, you don't need to learn how to have faith, you need to learn to apply what was given you so you will gain something.

How much does that change.

Think of every verse with the word "faith" in it and stick "gain" in instead.

What can that change in your life?

So gain comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Creator

So what about that word "faith"? Here's a great secret...it doesn't exist in Hebrew.

I guess that's why gain without works is dead.

Getting off to a Bad StartFirst word in the bible "In the beginning" (Yes its all one word) . So as eating humble pie has been a practice of ours, why stop now. As I have been writing over the last couple of months, we have hit the point where with the mutli level check and other material, we have been able to start going back over every word we have done to correct everything that was off.

So the big laugh of this, is that we had the very first word wrong. Yep, the very first one.

On the bright side, other than taking more luster off of our already rusty image lol, we have fixed a lot of stuff and now know what the word means.

In the bible it says...In the beginning.Using the SDH check, it says...amid the place where you see things when you picture them in your head (no, I'm not making that up).

The answer, is "amid the forefront".

Try it lol, that's actually where you see stuff.

In English, we would say it slightly differently as such:

v1 During the outset, the Originators began to produce what joined the "celestials" and joined the Earth.

Which means I must concede that the Greek translator actually got it pretty close in that spot. Unfortunately it didn't work using the Greek in the other places it appeared as such, but I'll give him that one.

If you look up all the other places the word appears, you will find that the words..."At the forefront", will fit perfectly every time it appears.

Dream a DreamIf you follow our material, you know that every spelling of a word is a different word. The bible translators just make their stuff up. So while we were doing some work in Daniel, we came across two words that are both translated "dream". Here's the difference.

i) To dream

So there's your random word of the month lol.
