Dear Parishioners,

Peace be to you! Just reminder that this upcoming Wednesday, March 6th, is Ash Wednesday. We will be having Masses with the distribution of ashes at 9:30am, 12pm and 7pm. Although this is NOT a Holy Day of Obligation, you are all invited to join us in officially 'kicking-off ' the Season of Lent. It is a wonderful time for us to re-connect with Our Blessed Lord and to consider what we, as Catholics, can do in order to deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ. I am happy to announce that the traditional Stations of the Cross services will be offered every Friday evening at 7pm during this Lenten Season. This particular practice of the Church is an opportunity to reflect on the Passion of The Second Person of the Holy Trinity in a para-liturgical fashion. It brings into sharp focus the ultimate price paid for US by Jesus Who won for us admittance into everlasting life! This is indeed a season of grace, because it allows us to renew our vows to God and to express to Him our thanksgiving for having given His Life for our benefit. I sincerely pray that we will take advantage of this time to extend our love and gratitude to The Christ Who suffered and died for our sins.

May this holy season enrich you and bring you closer to God! Your brother in Christ,

Fr. Eric
