on Harmonics and Quality of Power (ICHQP), we welcome all delegates and visitors to Bucharest.

The International Conference on Harmonics and Quality of Power is one of the premier international conferences in the field and aims to provide a forum for electrical engineers and scientists to present their work and share information in this area of growing interest and importance in the Electric Power Industry around the world.

We sincerely thank the Steering Committee of the ICHQP for the encouragement and support provided over the last few years to hold this conference in Romania and feel very honoured by the recognition they have demonstrated towards our activities.

Our sincere gratitude is offered to the members of the Technical Review Committee who have worked tirelessly to review the papers.
