stru"ture. is wor# was howe$er not proper%y do"umented and was in'%uen"ed with his "ountry%o"a% re/uirement.

This wor# was started 'rom where red1 %e't. 4 ha$e spent "onsidera&%e hours try to understand a%% thosethree men-s design "onsideration. +omehow, 4 de"ided to re"o$er to Teo +ar"a-s "ore design and donethe wor# to 1 repair &ad "odes and AD Con'iguration, 2 remo$e 5 what 4 thought was 5 %o"a%iation"odes and AD Con'iguration, and add missing "ode and AD Con'iguration.

• 3rodu"t Type( you must not use 4temF. Either E!penseF or )esour"e is re"ommended.

Asset AdditionThe window( Asset Addition is the main inter'a"e 'or re"ording new asset into iDempiere. There are'our method 'or Asset Addition(

1. Asset Addition 'rom 7at"h 4n$oi"eThe 'irst method is addition 'rom 3ro"urement '%ow.

The step &y step instru"tions are(

• irst, you must "reate a 7ateria% )e"eipt do"ument using the asset &ase 3rodu"t.

• Gpon "omp%etion o' 7ateria% )e"eipt, go to 4n$oi"e Vendor and use the Create ;inesromF to automati"a%%y "reate 7at"h 4n$oi"e during "omp%eting 4n$oi"e.

• Then, go to 4n$oi"e ;ine. >ou shou%d noti"e that the Asset )e%atedHF '%ag is ti"#ed.+e%e"t Capita%F $a%ue on 'ie%d Capita% $s E!penseF and you-%% see the re%ated Asset@roup $a%ue on 'ie%d Asset @roupF.

• Comp%ete the 4n$oi"e.

• 4' you are using Create ;ines romF, iDempiere wi%% automati"a%%y generate and"omp%ete 7at"h 4n$oi"e do"ument.

• 6hen 7at"h 4n$oi"e do"ument is "omp%eted, a new asset re"ord and a new assetaddition re"ord wi%% &e automati"a%%y generated.

• 4' you "he"# to the Asset window, you "an 'ind the new%y generated Asset with autogenerated $a%ue and name with 'ormat( 3rodu"t 5 Vendor B3 5 4n$oi"e Do"ument ?o.

• One important "he"# is the Asset +tatus and A"ti$ation Date. The Asset +tatus must &e?ewF and A"ti$ation Date must &e nu%%.

• 6hen the Asset Addition is "omp%eted, the Asset +tatus wi%% &e updated to A"ti$atedFand the A"ti$ation Date wi%% &e popu%ated.
