free onsite EMS development to companies that currently do not have an EMS in place.

New 3R’s Equipment Grant• Available to businesses that have completed a

waste assessment• Up to $40,000 with a 50% match• As previously noted, there is a reduced match

for ESP Members• Pre-Proposals due January 23rd

IDEM Personnel Changes• Terry Lewis, Retired• Linda Williams, IDEM-OAQ• TRI Coordinator position will not be filled;

however, we will continue to offer technical assistance in regard to TRI questions.

State is currently on a hiring freeze.

Change in IDEM structure• Office of Enforcement Staff will be moved to

the Offices of Air, Land and Water, respectively• Some Shadeland staff will be moved back

downtown• Local Air Pollution Control Agencies will be

phased out as their contract comes up for renewal
