View All Circulars / Subscribe / Media Inquiries ICE Clear Europe Ltd, a Recognised Clearing House under the Financial Services & Markets Act 2000 Registered in England & Wales with Registered Office at Milton Gate, 60 Chiswell Street, London, EC1Y 4SA Company Registration No. 6219884 14 JULY 2016 CIRCULAR C16/086 ICE CLEAR EUROPE: DISASTER RECOVERY DATA CENTRE TEST CATEGORY General ATTACHMENTS None F&O Clearing Members and CDS Clearing Members are advised that commencing with the business day of Monday 08 August 2016, ICE Clear Europe will be conducting a Disaster Recovery (“DR”) Test during which all ICE Clearing Systems will be run from ICE Clear Europe’s Disaster Recovery Site. The DR Test will run from Monday 08 August 2016 to Friday 12 August 2016 inclusive. Please note that ICE Clear Europe will be operating using its normal production systems during the DR Test. Clearing Members should also note that systems at the primary Data Centre will be available for failback during the DR Test period, thus meaning the normal level of system and Data Centre redundancy throughout the DR Test. In order to facilitate this test, Clearing Members are asked to note that: ECS, PTMS and MFT will not be available from 06:00 until 17:00 London Local Time on Saturday 06 August 2016. Additionally, F&O Clearing Members are also required to reset their MQ sequence numbers prior to, and after, the switch to the clearing systems at Disaster Recovery Site. After 17:00 London Time on Saturday 06 August 2016, all F&O Clearing Members should reset their MQ Channel Sequence Number for both their sender and receiver channels to “1”. This action should be repeated again after 17:00 London Time on Saturday 13 August 2016. Clearing Members should ensure that the relevant staff in their Back/Middle office, IT and Operations teams are aware of this change. Please note that there is no change to the estimated time for the availability of the SPAN Files for Liffe products.
