Inaugural Session

H.E. Mr. T.P. SeetharamAmbassador of India to UAE

H.E. Mr. T.P. Seetharam, has before his current posting as the

Ambassador of India to the UAE, has served as the Indian High

Commissioner to Mauritius. He has also handled India's bilateral

relations with countries in Europe as well as the European Union in

New Delhi as Additional Secretary, West Europe and as Joint

Secretary Central Europe.

Ambassador Seetharam has considerable experience in Southern

Africa having worked in Lusaka, Zambia and having helped open

Indian offices in Windhoek, Namibia as well as in Johannesburg and

Cape Town in South Africa.

H.E. Mr. Anurag Bhushan

Consul General of India to UAE

Anurag Bhushan joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1995. As a

career diplomat, his overseas assignments have included Political,

Information and Cultural work in Tokyo; Economic, Commercial,

Visa and Administration responsibilities in Dhaka and as Head of

the Political and Administration wings in the Indian Embassy in

Berlin. He was also responsible for training of foreign diplomats as

well as Indian Foreign service officers during his assignment at the

Foreign Service Institute in New Delhi. Most recently, he was Head

of the Regional Passport Office in New Delhi.

CA Manoj Fadnis

Vice President, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India

A blend of erudition, experience, foresight, technical expertise and

professional excellence worth emulating, CA. Manoj Fadnis has

assumed the office of Vice- President of the Institute on of Chartered

Accountants of India (ICAI) for the year 2014-15. A fellow member

of the ICAI with 27 years of standing, he is an altruistic hard-worker

bestowed with exceptional organizational, networking,

administrative and leadership skills.

CA. Manoj Fadnis has served as the ICAI nominee in the meetings of

the National Standard Setters and the World Standard Setters, Asia

Oceanea Standard Setters Group and Emerging Economies Group.A prolific writer and ace speaker, his articles have been published in

various magazines including The Chartered Accountant.

Dr. Parthasarathi Shome

Advisor to Finance Minister & Head - Tax Administration Reform

Commission, India

Parthasarathi Shome is Adviser (at level of Minister of State) to the

Indian Finance Minister. He was appointed Chairman of the Tax

Administration Reforms Commission (TARC), Government of India.

and was also Chairman, Expert Committee on General Anti-

Avoidance Rules (GAAR), Government of India.

Dr. Shome holds a doctoral degree from the Southern Methodist

University, USA and Masters degrees from the University of

Rochester and the Delhi School of Economics.

His books and articles have been published by leading publishers

and internationaland national journals.

Adel Ali, Group

CEO, Air Arabia

Adel A. Ali is a Board Member and the Group Chief Executive

Officer of Air Arabia, which is the Middle East and North Africas

first low-cost carrier.

Adel with his 28 years of experience with industry leaders has been

able to guide Air Arabia to become amongst the worlds best run

Low Cost Carriers.

Adel has been awarded Airline CEO of the year for five consecutive

years and was also named Business Leader of the Year and CEOof the Year Aviation in recognition and reward for the

outstanding success, innovation and ethics.
