I have a question on bankruptcy and tax returns?

This year's taxes 2010 we filed and I had to pay back the first time home buyerss credit I received when I bought the home back in 2008. In 2009 I had to move due to a job change. We had renters rent this home and have had 4 sets rent this home and I have always got screwed with the rent. This is even after a credit check and ref check has been done.
