1. The Right Perspective

Whatever you do, do your work heartily, 

as for the Lord rather than for men…

Colossians 3:23

“Now I have prepared with all my might for

the house of my God…”

2. The Right Degree

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might…

Ecclesiastes 9:10

“…I have set my affection on the house of God…” (v3a)

3. The right object of affection

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints,

and are of God’s household…

Ephesians 2:19

…but in case I am delayed, I write so that you will know how one ought to conduct himself in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and support of the truth.

I Timothy 3:15

• “And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day

unto the Lord?” (v5b)

• Are you willing to “fill your hand” to the

Lord?

• Are you willing to “consecrate” your all to the Lord?

The question is still asked of God’s people today!

Don’t be short sighted

“…offered willingly, and gave for the service of the house of God.” (vs6-8)

 9Then the people rejoiced because they had offered so willingly, for they made their offering to the LORD with a whole heart, and King David also rejoiced greatly.
