    'he need &or a concentration o& study in international *usiness in the secondaryeducation arena is *ecoming more important as economies o& di&&erent countries and

    regions *ecome more interdependent.

    All graduates o& high school today enter a wor#&orce that is greatly impacted *y

    political and economic events that ta#e place outside o& the +nited States. A *asic

    #nowledge o& international *usiness will *etter prepare our graduates &or manycareers

    'his paper outlines standards &or Social Studies, "oreign Language, English andCDOS, and illustrates where these standards are met with the success&ul completiono& the course, nternational !usiness, as outlined *y the -ational Standards &or

    !usiness Education.

    'he achievement standards outlined in this paper detail per&ormance e%pectations thatare *ro#en up into two levels. Level three indicates per&ormance e%pectations to *e

    met at the secondary level and level &our at the Community College level.

    As you read through the &ramewor#s o& the course, note that any Social Studies
