'his paper outlines standards &or Social Studies, "oreign Language, English andCDOS, and illustrates where these standards are met with the success&ul completiono& the course, nternational !usiness, as outlined *y the -ational Standards &or
!usiness Education.
'he achievement standards outlined in this paper detail per&ormance e%pectations thatare *ro#en up into two levels. Level three indicates per&ormance e%pectations to *e
met at the secondary level and level &our at the Community College level.
As you read through the &ramewor#s o& the course, note that any Social Studies

analy(e important historic, geographic, economic, and environmental 7uestions
and issues. 'hese si% elements include/ the world in spatial terms, places and
regions, physical settings 0including natural resources, human systems,environment and society, and the use o& geography.
2. 6eography re7uires the development and application o& the s#ills o& as#ing and
