The 4 types of Cloud Often Known as ‘the public cloud’, an off-premise (hosted), multi-tenant solution that can enable a true utility computing model

Single tenant, virtualisation solutions (only loosely described as ‘cloud’ in reality)

Both virtualised and non-virtualised, single-tenant computing solutions usually hosted off-premise
