• No login required for most pages• Exception – Library database passwords

• Student login -

• Password: Same as password to access computer at school

• Faculty do not have pages available in School Wires

Parent Portal (Aspen)

• Link located by clicking Popular Links at the top of any Knox Schools page then Parent Portal

Parent Portal Login

• Username and password required

• Parents create account • Contact Lavonne Pierce for details

Parent Portal Contains

• Access to student grades – “Real Time”

• Access to student attendance information

• Access to transcript

• May contain details on assignments and supporting documents

Student View in Aspen

• Student Dashboard

Canvas

• Course management tool

• Similar to D2L at PSCC and Blackboard at UT

• Optional for teachers

• Can contain:

• Course information

• Videos

• Course documents

• Dropbox to upload completed assignments

• Discussion boards

• Does not communicate with Aspen
