How Male and Female Feels During Puberty Both have to deal with several changes in the body and with

mixed up feelings and mood changes, But still Most of the boys easily accept the change during puberty Most of the girls have to suffer a lot to go with the changes of

puberty As the girls have to

Face premenstrual syndrome Worry about the size of the breasts Deal with first menstruation Wait for the time of periods Take care of the acne Someone have to wait a lot for the starts of puberty Tensed with the bra size Tensed about the fatness

Brooks-Gunn and Petersen (1983) found that while boys’ body image remains basically positive as they go through puberty, girls’ self-image declines precipitously.

Problems Faced By A Girl Breast and Body Shape

Will they be the right shape?

YES - finally theyare growing!

Will they be too big or too small?,

What will be the bra size?

When will I become a supermodel?

and shape of breasts. The size does not affect how much

milk a mother can make to feed a baby.

Breasts grow slowly and one side may be bigger for awhile.

They may feel sore at times while they are developing.

Some girls never wear bras. Some girls feel more comfortable

wearing one. So be happy with whatever you

have because there is no other way to increase/decrease the size

Conclusion Dr Kim says:

"Do you know the story of the ugly duckling that turned into a swan?

There may be times during puberty when you feel that you have a lot in common with the duckling!

Gradually though, you will turn into a swan!

Well perhaps not, but you will turn into the wonderful, unique adult that is you."
