AFROTC Qualifications Must Be a Full-Time Student Sign up for AFROTC Class &

Leadership Lab Height and Weight standards Good Moral Character (few civil

offenses/do not use drugs)

• High School Scholarship Program (HSSP) – Is 4- and 3-yr Offers• High School Seniors (no full time college)• Apply on-line at www.afrotc.com 1 May – 1 Dec of Senior year

• In-College Scholarship Program • based on order of merit and degree

• Enlisted (4-, 3.5-, 3-, 2.5, 2-)• Active Duty Personnel (see website for information)• SOAR, ASCP, AECP

• Type I (4 year) – 5% of Awardees • FULL Tuition and fees anywhere student goes (w/AFROTC)• $900/year Flat Rate for Textbooks & Required Fees• $300-500/month non-taxable stipend (pizza money)

• Type II (4 year or 3 year) – 25% of Awardees• $18,000/year for Tuition

• Student CAN & MUST make up difference if tuition > than 18K/yr• $900/year Flat Rate for Textbooks & Required Fees• $300-500/month non-taxable stipend (pizza money)

• Type VII (4 year) “Targeted” – 70% of Awardees• $9,000/year for Tuition

• Student CANNOT make up difference--tuition must be < 9K • Student CAN opt to convert offer to 3 year type II
