Learn the use of safety appliances. 5. Make himself aware of hazards associated with his work. 6. Not to spread rumors of accidents that can create panic. 7. Not to interfere with or misuse anything provided in the interest of safety. 8. Report the accident/incidents to their immediate Site Supervisors/Engineers without delay.

THE COMMON REASONS FOR ACCIDENTS IN THE PROJECT- SITES:

i. Poor coordination between different agents.ii. Working at heights at different levels.

iii. Poorhouse keeping.iv. Illiterate and un-skilled work force.v. Poor response to the use of PPE.

vi. Frequency changes of jobs and individuals.vii. Poor maintenance of equipment.

viii. No proper training to the working hands.ix. Un-skilled workers engaged in skilled jobs.x. Improper storage of materials.

xi. Improper road condition in construction Sites.xii. Fall of loose material lying at different heights.

xiii. Fall of unstable structures.xiv. Lack of proper attention while erecting the

equipment with the help of cranes.xv. Use of mechanical tools without knowledge.

xvi. Lack of supervision.
