Dear Colleagues,

The Global HSE 2017 Conference and Exhibition will be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain from 18th– 20th April 2017 at the Gulf Hotel. The event is being organised with the theme 'Overcoming the Challenges of Today to build a Resilient Future', in cooperation with the National Oil & Gas Authority (NOGA) and will be co-hosted by BAPCO and BANAGAS.

Global HSE has built a growing reputation for being a significant technical and networking platform with an established track record in promoting the latest developments in health, safety and environment. Keeping in mind present market conditions, it is imperative to seize any opportunity to interact, collaborate, innovate and build resilience in our industry.

This conference and exhibition will provide an excellent platform for stakeholders from different parts of the world to build partnerships and share knowledge in the field of HSE. I am confident that the event will provide a great opportunity for knowledge sharing and discussion around best practices that will further contribute to the creation of a proactive and dynamic safety culture in the workplace.

Bahrain is committed to ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety and Environment in all sectors of industry. The challenges faced by us in the Kingdom are no different from those experienced worldwide. In partnership with stakeholders and in collaboration with leading oil and gas companies, NOGA is determined to further develop an integrated strategy which aims to diversify HSE resources, reduce cost, and sustain safe and environment friendly operations.

On behalf of Global HSE and NOGA I invite you to participate in Global HSE 2017 Conference and Exhibition.

I look forward to seeing you at the Global HSE event in the Kingdom of Bahrain in April 2017.

Dear Industry Colleagues,

I would like to take this opportunity with special honour and privilege to welcome all distinguished industry members and colleagues to participate in the Global HSE 2017, the 4th Edition of this International Conference and Exhibition for the HSE Fraternity in the Middle East and Asia Pacific domain.

In today’s world, businesses need to develop and adopt a proactive HSE culture that focuses on prevention of incidents rather than a reactive culture based on managing costs and implications after the incident. Ensuring uncompromising compliance with world class safety standards and pursuing the adoption of global best practices is important for organizations to change the focus of their safety strategies from the traditional ‘control of conditions and causes of accidents’ to integrating risk management practices as part of daily activities. It is important to understand that a proactive HSE culture is never achieved through quick-fix solutions. It evolves over a period of time through incremental changes based on a range of dynamic and progressive processes.

Global HSE is an industry driven event primarily organised and supported by the industry. Since its inception in 2013, Global HSE has diversified and expanded to different major industries and thereby sustained the objective of disseminating HSE Standards, sharing best practices to the community along with enabling the exchange of thoughts on understanding the dynamic and progressive processes for the development of such a strong HSE culture across all major industries.

This prestigious event provides an excellent platform for companies to maximise their exposure to international HSE communities through exhibiting and presenting. Along side the technical sessions, conference delegates will be able to look at and discuss with potential suppliers and consultants for their own projects making this an ideal opportunity to showcase new technologies, products and solutions to an audience of buyers and influencers.

The fourth Edition of Global HSE seeks to capitalize on the momentum generated by the previous editions that were extremely well received and supported by associations & organisations like GAIL India, BAPCO, BANAGAS, Cairn India, Oil India, ONGC, Indian Oil, HPCL, BPCL, OISD, TATA Motors, Shell India, ENOC, ADNOC, IOSH, IBM, NEBOSH, National Safety Council, ASSE, Energy Institute, IChemE, IIRSM, AIChE and many others.

BANAGAS is proud to be amongst those organisations that value health, safety & the environment which is directly driven by the senior management throughout our journey. The leadership team across organisations have to be the key to leading this paradigm shift in transforming HSE culture, in order to make business processes state of the art, safe and sustainable for the future.

With regards to the above context I once again, on behalf of Global HSE 2017 would like to take this opportunity with great privilege to invite all distinguished members of the industry to actively participate at the largest gathering of HSE leaders, practitioners and experts from across the globe in the region.

I look forward to seeing you all at Global HSE 2017 which will be held at the Kingdom of Bahrain .

Kind Regards,

Situated just 15 minutes from Bahrain International Airport and only 5 minutes from Central Manama, the Gulf Hotel is located in the heart of Adliya, Bahrain’s most fashionable area.
