JOTAFLOOR- THE WORLD AT YOUR FEET
JOTUN has been successfully protecting concrete floors around
the
world fo many years. Several years ago it was decided to
combine
the vast experience gained with the latest technology and
launch
JOTAFLOOR, a range of industrial floor coatings to suit most
concrete floors in aggressive environments.
Concrete floors require protection from attack by chemicals,
contamination from spillage, impact, abrasion and a host of
other
potentially damaging criteria. The JOTAFLOOR range consists
of
products and systems to protect and extend the life of the
floors
whilst having the added benefit of an excellent colour range to
offer
more aesthetically pleasing effects. Each system in the range
has
undergone a comprehensive regime of testing at an
internationally
recognised independent testing laboratory to ensure the
required
amount of protection is provided.
Concrete floor coating applications need to be completed by
experts
due to the sensitive nature of the substrate. JOTUN only
uses
approved Licensed Applicators for the application of products in
the
range. These specialists have years of experience and have
also
attended practical training sessions organized by JOTUN
technical
staff. They use the correct tools to ensure good surface
preparation
of the concrete is completed and the application of the
JOTAFLOOR
system is as per manufacturers instructions.
JOTUN also recognizes the responsibilty borne by the
manufacturer
by inspecting major floor projects during each stage of

TYPICAL SYSTEMS
Jotafloor Rapid Dry: A single component, fast drying,
glossy/alkyd offering durability not normally associated with alkyd
floor products. Ideal for foot traffic and light duty floors.
Jotafloor Topcoat: Two component general purpose epoxy floor
coating for use light to medium duty floor areas.Can be supplied in
a wide range of colours using the Jotun Multicolour System. Good
general chemical resistance.
Jotafloor PU Topcoat: A high solids flexible polyurethane
offering good chemical, abrasion and UV resistance and colour
stability. For use in light to medium duty floor areas or as part
of the Jotafloor Traffic Deck System . Can be supplied in a wide
range of colours using the the Jotun Multicolour System.
Jotafloor Coating: A two component 100% solids, solvent free,
self smoothing epoxy coating offering a durable, high gloss,
aesthetically pleasing floor coating with excellent chemical
resistance. Available in a range of attractive colours. Ideal for
use in hospitals, kitchens, warehouses etc.
Jotafloor SL Universal: A three component 100% solids, solvent
free, self smoothing epoxy coating capable of being applied at
varying thickness' to suit the final use of the floor.
Offers excellent chemical and impact resisitance and a high
gloss seamless finish ideal for use in aircraft hangars, dairies,
food/beverage processing plants, high tech' warehouses, etc.
Available in a wide range of attractive colours.

Jotafloor Glass Flake: A two component, high solids, glass flake
reinforced epoxy offering superb impact and abrasion resistance.
Ideal for concrete floors requiring protection from heavy duty
equipment, pallet trucks and regular impact such as workshops,
garages and warehouses.
Jotafloor Screed: A three component 100% solids, solvent free,
trowel applied epoxy screed. Offers very high strength protection
against impact and abrasion to concrete floors in the harshest
environments such as unloading bays and heavy duty workshops and
factories.
Jotafloor Traffic Deck System: A high performance versatile
coating system designed specifically to protect concrete floors
exposed to vehicular traffic .Combining the latest glass flake
reinforced epoxy and polyurethane technology, the system can be
tailor-made to suit floors in car parks, walkways, ramps and
external traffic decks. Available in a wide range of attractive
colours.
Jotafloor WB Topcoat: A two component water based epoxy floor
coating for use in light to medium duty floor areas. Particularly
useful on floors in high humidity locations or in hygiene sensitive
areas such as kitchens and hospitals.
Note: The floors mentioned above include use of special
Jotafloor primers/sealers. The choice is de pendent on the location
and condition of the floor. These ancilliary products include, but
