Proctored exam at a Prometric test centre (HP0-XXX)Candidates are required to demonstrate mastery of the subject in a controlled environment and without recourse toexternal tools and information resources.

Tests are conducted in Prometric test centres throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Required test scores are set, based on extensive analysis of the results achieved by experts with extensiveknowledge of the subject matter. The required scores are communicated to candidates prior to the exam.

Web-based exam (HP2-XXX) Candidates are required to demonstrate mastery of the subject in an uncontrolled environment. The candidate canuse any external tools or information resources they choose.

Tests have a time limit. As a result, the candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of the subject in orderto complete the exam within the given time.

Tests are conducted over the web in a secure browser environment. This means they can be taken in the office or athome, 24 hours a day.

Exam preparationTest analysis conducted by HP and Prometric clearlyshow that a comprehensive course of class attendance,self-study and review is required to pass the certificationexam on the first attempt. Therefore, it is essential that you:

Exam resultsUpon completion of your exam online or at anAuthorised Prometric Testing Centre, you will receiveimmediate online notification of your pass/fail status.You will also receive a certified report indicating yourpass/fail status and your exam results by section (where appropriate). Your individual test scores will be automatically “uploaded” to the HP certificationdatabase where your certification history is recorded.HP typically receives your exam results within fivebusiness days from the date the test was taken.
