    Loading paper into the printer

    Paper should be loaded with the top down and the

    facing forward. Always adjust the paper guides to pskewing.

    CAUTION Attempting to print on paper that is wrinkled, folded,way may cause a jam to occur. See Printer paper

    Note Always remove all paper from the paper input trthe stack when new paper is added. This helps sheets of paper from feeding through the printer atreduces paper jams. See the sticker which you plawhile setting up the hardware.

    Printers that require 100-127 volts of power must b

    Printer properties control the printer and allow yousettings, such as paper size, printing on both sides(manual duplexing), printing multiple pages on a sin(N-up printing), resolution, watermarks, and printeraccess the printer properties in two ways:

    Printing a self-test page

    Among other items, a self-test page provides all of

    configuration settings, scanner attachment verificathe print quality, and provides information for printewell as scan and copy page counts. A self-test pagyou verify the printer is printing correctly.

    To print a self-test page, press and release the Goprinter control panel while the printer is in the Read

    Scanner paper input tray, guides, path

    The scanner paper input tray is located on the fron

    scanner. The paper guides are located inside the pare used to ensure that the paper or media is correscanner and to prevent skewing (crooked image).

    CAUTION Paper and media can jam if not correctly loaded, cthe original you are scanning or copying. See Loadi
