How to upload the Grades on UMS

How to upload the internal Marks:

How to upload the marks Manually:-

Step-1: Login to https://ums.jgu.edu.in

Step-2 : Click on the course for which you want to upload the Internal

marks.

Step-3: Click on the “Grades” button on left top corner of the

course main page.

Step-4: Click on the “Turn editing on” tab.

Step-5: Select the section from the Drop down and Enter the marks

of the students.

Step-6: Click on the “Save Changes” after entered the marks.

How to upload marks in Bulk: Internal Marks-

Step-1: Click on the course for which you want to upload the

Internal marks.

Steps-2: Click on the “Grades” button on left top corner of the

course main page.

Step-3: Click on the “Turn Editing On” tab which is given on the top

right side.

Step-4: Then click on the “Internal Grades” and Download the user

list, Enter the marks and save the file as “CSV”.

Step-5: Select the section and click on the “Import” Tab. After that

click on the “Choose a File”.

Step-6: Then browse the “CSV File/Downloaded user list” or Drag

the file. But File should be in CSV format. Then Click on the “Upload

this File”.

Step-7: In Identify user by-

“Map from”-should be Username/Id number.

“Map to”-should be Username/Id number.

Note: In the both tab, Component should be same – (Username to

Username and Id number to Id number).

In the “Grade item mappings- Marks should be internal, rest all the

settings should be “ignore”.

Then click on the Upload grades.

Upload the External marks Manually:-

Step-1: Login to https://ums.jgu.edu.in

Step-2 : Click on the course for which you want to upload the External

marks.

Step-3: Click on the “Grades” button on left top corner of the course main

page.

Step-4: Click on the “Turn editing on” tab.

Step-5: Click on the External Grades, select the section from the

Drop down and Enter the marks of the students.

Step-6: Click on the “Save Changes” after entered the marks.

How to upload the External Marks:

External marks.

anonymous code file, Enter the marks and save the file as “CSV”.

Step-5: Select the section and click on the “Import” Tab. After that

click on the “Choose a File”.
