How To Install & Crack Or It WillNot Work !!!

OK, the first thing that you need to do is turn off your Anti-Virus programtemporarily, otherwise the installation of the OrCAD program pack willtake much longer, or (in the worst case scenario) fail.

The second thing that you need to do is locate the setup.exe autorunprogram located in the installation directory of rCAD 16.3.

Now, execute it. The following window will pop up.

Click on the License Manager button, wait for a few seconds, afterwhich the License Manager installation will begin and the followingwindow will pop up.

Click the Next button.

Choose I accept the terms of the license agreement and afterwardsclick the Next button.

Dont change the destination folder. If you change it, the License Managermight not work (trust me, Ive tried it). Leave the destination folder as itis and click Next.

Just click Next.

Now, click the Install button and the License Manager will install itself.

At the end of the installation, the Cadence License Server Configurationwindow will pop up.

Just click Cancel.

Now click Yes. The Cadence License Manager installation window will popup again. Now, you can click Finish.

Now, open the installation source directory and position the explorer in

the Crack foler.

Now, open up the LicenseManager folder.

Copy the two files (cdslmd.exe and orcad_163.lic) and paste them inthe License Manager installation directory located inC:\Cadence\LicenseManager\. This action will overwrite the originalcdslmd.exe located in that directory. This is necessary for the crackingprocess, so be sure you click Yes when the explorer asks you if you wantto replace the original file.

Now, find the orcad_163.lic file in the License Manager directory.

Now, right click on the file and choose Open.

Choose Notepad from the list of programs and untick the Always use

the selected program to open this kind of file checkbox. Afterwardsclick OK. The following window will pop up.

Now, go to Start Settings Control Panel System and select theComputer Name tab. Now, see what the name of your computer is. Forexample, the name of mine is MM8080741.

Change the marked text (this_host) with the name of your computer.

The name of my computer is MM8080741, so Ill put in this text insteadofthis_host. Be sure not to change anything else in the .lic file.

Now, hit Ctrl + S on the keyboard (in order to save changes to the file)and you can safely exit the Notepad by clicking the X button on thewindow.

Now, lets go back to the setup window.

Click the Product Installation button. The installation of OrCAD willbegin.

Click Next.

Choose I accept the terms of the license agreement and click Next.

Just click Next.

Dont change the destination path, just click the Next button.

Choose all the products form the list and click the Next button.

Choose None and hit the Next button.

The destination of the OrCAD Data folder is pretty much optional, but fornow, I would leave it as it is. Besides, you can always move your projectsif you really wanted to. Just click the Next button.

Again, just click Next.

Dont go back, just click Install. The installation of OrCAD will begin. Thismight take some time, depending on the specifications of your rig.

When the installation has finished (well, at least the installation of OrCADand registering of the files), the following window will pop up.

Write the following in the Cadence License Client Configuration window:5280@computer_name. Of course, you will input your computerscomputer name after the @, not mine. Here is what I wrote in the emptyfield of the Cadence License Client Configuration window. As you can see,the text in the empty field is: 5280@MM8080741.

Now, click the Next button.

When the Cadence License Client Configuration utility prompts you that

the CDS_LIC_FILE license path environment variable has been properlyupdated with the new value you specified, click the Finish button. Afterthis, the installation will start generating the indexes for the OrCAD helpfiles. This will (unfortunately) take a while. Sit back and relax .

When the setup has finished installing OrCAD, just click the Finishbutton.

Now, lets bring up the Cadence setup window one more time.

Now, click the HDL-AMS Library button. The installation for the HDL-AMS Library will begin.

Just click the Next button.

Choose I accept the terms of the license agreement and afterwardsclick Next.

Dont change the destination path, just leave everything as it is and clickthe Next button.

Tick every checkbox and click Next.

Just click Next.

Now, click Install. The installation of the HDL-AMS Library will begin.This will also take some time.

When the installer finishes installing the libraries, you can click the Finishbutton.

Afterwards, click the Exit button in the Cadence setup window.

Now, position the explorer in the Crack folder in the source installationdirectory again.

Copy the SPB_16.3.exe file in C:\Cadence\.

Now, run the patch (SPB_16.3.exe). The following window will pop up.

As the patcher says, it takes some time to patch all the files, so stand byfor the patch to finish its job. Afterwards, if you want to you can deletethe patching program.

Now, go to Start Programs Cadence License Manager License Server Configuration Utility and the Cadence License ServerConfiguration utility will pop up.

Click the Browse button and locate the orcad_163.lic file.

Click the Open button.

Now click Next.

The name of your computer should appear in the Host Name: filed. If itdoesnt, type it in or paste it. Again, click the Next button afterwards. Ifeverything went according to plan, the License Server will start runningand the following window will pop up.

Even though it says that the License Server was unable to start with thislicense file, dont worry, its up and running. To prove that its up andrunning, here is a screen shot from NetLimiter and the exchange of databetween the License Server and some of the programs included inOrCAD.
