Chapter 1 Overview of Software Requirement for SAP Work Manager

This document contains all the information about how to setup SAP Work Manager on S/4 HANA 1610 on

premise. In this chapter, it introduces all the preparation for building this environment.

Note

In this document, we will use the following environment:

SAP S/4HANA 1610 On Premise

SAP Mobile Platform 3.0 SP12

SAP GUI 750

Requirement

Mobile Add-On for ERP 6.2 or higher

SAP Work Manager 6.4 or higher

Check S/4 HANA system for requirement

As the prerequisites for S/4 HANA system, we need to create a personnel number, assign to an end user, create

work center to associate with this end user.

Note

The configuration in this chapter should be performed in the S/4 HANA system.

1. Run T-code PA40

2. Select Hiring option and press Execute button

3. Input start time and press Save button to generate a personnel number

4. Input the necessary information in Personal Data, Organizational Assignment, Address, Planned Working

Time, Basic Pay, Bank Details and Absence Quotas, press Save button to create an employee

5. Run T-code HRUSER and press Execute button

6. Select the employee generated before and assign to the current end user

7. Run T-code CR01, input Plant number, Work Center name and Category to create Work Center

Chapter 2

Install and configure on S/4 HANA System In this chapter, you can find the information about how to upgrade Support Package Manager, install Mobile

Add-on on S/4 HANA system, activate work manager 6.4 app BC set, activate Syclo related Web Service and

enable Agentry SAP Framework Configuration Panel.

Note

The installation of Support Package Manager and Mobile Add-On in this

chapter should be performed under Client 000

Upgrade Support Package Manager We need to upgrade the Support Package Manager version to 751/0064 for installing Mobile Add-On

successfully.

1. Run T-code SAINT

2. Click on the More->Installation Package->Load packages->From Front End and import KD75164.SAR file

3. Press Decompress button to unzip the SAR file to local folder of S/4 HANA system

4. Run T-code SPAM

5. Click on the More->Support Package->Import SPAM/SAINT Update

6. Press Import button continually and we can see the SPAM status is being processed

7. Wait for a certain time and the Support Package Manager would be update successfully

Installation of Mobile Add-On components We need to input Mobile Add-On installation and support package together in the same installation queue

1. Run T-code saint

2. Click on the More->Installation Package->Load packages->From Front End and import K-

620AGINSMERP.SAR, K-620AGINSMFND.SAR, K-62001INSMERP.SAR, K-62002INSMERP.SAR, K-

62003INSMERP.SAR, K-62001INSMFND.SAR, K-62002INSMFND.SAR and K-62003INSMFND.SAR file

3. Press Decompress button to unzip the SAR files to local folder of S/4 HANA system

4. Click Start button

Note

If install the SMERP/SMFND 620_700 installation packages separately, some

errors will occur during implementation. Please check Note 2366315 and

2353841 for reference. Fixes are included in SMERP/SMFND 620_700 SP03 and

the installation package and support package are required to be installed

together in the above steps

Activate SAP Work Manager Application BC Set

1. Run T-code SCPR20 under client 001

2. Input “/SMERP/SAP_WORK_MANAGER_64_REF” in BC Set field

3. Select More->BC Set->Activate

Enable Agentry SAP Framework Configuration Panel

1. Navigate to S/4 HANA local folder “<hostname>\sapmnt\<SID>\SYS\profile”

2. Check the DEFAULT.PFL in notepad

3. Make sure HTTP, HTTPS and SSO is already configured as below example

4. Restart S/4 HANA server in SAP Management Console

5. Run T-code /SYCLO/CONFIGPANEL under client 001

6. Input user name and password to check if Agentry SAP Framework Configuration Panel is accessible

Chapter 3

Install and deploy Work Manager application In this chapter, you can find the information about installing sap work manager application for S/4 HANA

backend system and deploying the Syclo application in SAP Mobile Platform.

Note

The configuration in this chapter should be performed in the Backend system.

Install SAP Work Manager application

1. Unzip 51050450_1.zip, run work manager.server-6.4.1.exe and press Next button

2. Input S/4 HANA backend server address, Client number, Sys Number, select “S/4 HANA Backend” and

Press Next Button

3. Enter the user name, password of S/4 HANA backend system, click Enable Push based on your

requirement and press Next button

4. Choose a destination folder and press Install button to finish installation

Deploy application on SAP Mobile Platform 3.0 1. Login SAP Mobile Platform Management Cockpit and create an Agentry application

3. Select APPLICATION-SPECIFIC SETTINGS and import the Work Manager Project file:

SAPWorkMgr641Deployment-20161101.2027.zip.

4. After finishing the deployment, you can see the publish version in the below screenshot and press Save

button.

5. Navigate to Settings Screen and choose Agentry App Restart

6. Choose the Agentry application to restart and press Save button

7. Input the application URL in the web browser and you can see the information “I am here” if the

deployment is successful.

Chapter 4

Test on Agentry Client In this chapter, it introduces how to create a work order in the S/4 HANA backend system and how to complete

an initial synchronization from S/4 HANA backend to Agentry Client

Transmit a work order from S/4 HANA backend system

1. Login S/4 HANA backend system under Client 001

2. Run T-code IW31

3. Input Order Type, Priority, Plant number, Business Area number and press Header data button

4. Enter work order name, work center, responsible person id and press Release button

5. Press Save button and a released work order would be generated successfully

6. Download and install the latest Agentry iOS Client from Apple Store

7. Open the Agentry Client and input user name and password of S/4 HANA backend system

8. Input the SAP Work Manager application URL, for example: https://hostname:8081/ApplicationName

9. After the initial synchronization is done, you would see the menu screen of SAP Work Manager

application

10. Select Work Order option and we can find the sample work order has been synchronized to Agentry

Client successfully
