ENABLE FLASH PLAYER ON GOOGLE CHROME

Google Chrome includes Adobe Flash Player built-in, but it may be disabled. If this is the case, the default on Chrome is set to "Ask First", at which point you should be able to enable Flash Player directly from the window you are in.

A disabled Flash Player will bring you to the window below when you try to log in.

1) Click on the puzzle piece shown in the middle of the screen. A window will appear at the top of the screen letting you know that this website wants to run Flash Player. You will have the option to either Allow or Block this website specifically.

2) Click Allow. This will prompt you to refresh the screen, which we recommend you do to ensure the change is saved to your browser.

UN-BLOCK FLASH PLAYER ON CHROME

If you receive the message "Adobe Flash Player is Blocked", you will need to enable Flash Player from the address bar.

1) Go to your student's login page.

If you see this error, navigate to your DreamBox URL in a new window or tab and your student will be able to log in as usual. INFORMATION FOR SCHOOL NETWORK ADMINISTRATORS

If your network and devices are controlled centrally, users may not be able to enable Flash Player from their devices. If this is the case, it may be necessary to contact your Network Administrator to complete some of the troubleshooting steps. Network Administrators using the G Suite can refer to Google's support article on setting Chrome policies for their users. Network Administrators may also refer to Google's page on managing Flash in Chrome versions 54 and later. WHITELISTING DREAMBOX VIA GOOGLE CHROME CONTENT SETTINGS You can also whitelist DreamBox through your Content Settings on Chrome, which will always allow Flash Player to run when visiting your student's login page.

1) In the address bar, type chrome://settings/content/flash to open the Flash Settings page.

2) Ensure the first option is set to Ask First (recommended).

3) Click ADD in the "Allow" section. 4) Under Add a site enter your student's login URL exactly (you do not need to type "[*.]" in this case).
