How to install a Receiptor / Validator  

To install the Receiptor/Validator go to the Printer Folders o The Printer Folder can be access by going to Start >Settings >Printers 

Select Add Printer to begin the Add Printer Wizard. 

 

1. Click Next 

 

2. Select Local printer and uncheck Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer. 

 

     

3. Select COM1 from the drop down box and click Next 

 

4. For the Manufacturer select Generic and for the Printers select Generic / Text Only.

   5. When naming the Printer it is very important to 

name the Printer Receiptor. An incorrect spelling will prevent the validator/receiptor from Printing out of MCS32/MCSJ. 

 6. Select Do not share this printer and then click Next. 

 

     

7. Select yes to print a test page and then click Next. 

 8. Click Finish.
