Where are we withWhere are we with ICT?ICT?
The gap between the best and the worst is unacceptably wide and
increasing.
In the most outstanding examples, ICT is starting to have a pervasive impact on the way teachers teach
and children learn.
As yet the government’s aim for ICT to become embedded in the work of schools is a reality in only a small
minority.

• Developed and supported by all national agencies
• 100 professionals contributed to its development
• Building on the work of Ofsted’s Common Evaluation Framework
• Online self review tool with:– action planning– links to support materials– benchmarking– evidence examples– linked to ICT Mark accreditation.
Using the framework has enabled us to identify our strengths and provide a clear direction and pathway for us to follow
