Now that you know how to set up your campaign, it’s time to create adsets and ads that will work towards your marketing goals. If you’re not surewhat a campaign is or need a little extra help getting your Facebook adcampaign set up, jump on over to our Campaign Setup resource, here!

Now you need to select an audience. This is everyone you want yourads to reach. You can specify by countries, states, cities, and more.

Choose a location. Select the age range of your ideal prospects. Select a gender(s). Choose your language(s). Detailed Targeting is a way to divide your audience into evensmaller groups. This includes interests, behaviors, jobs, etc. You can add a connection type, but it’s not always necessaryunless you know what it is. Save your audience once done.

Time to set your budget. You can choose from daily budget or lifetimebudget.

Daily budget is how much you will spend in a day on your ad. Youcan set a start and end date for these ads. Lifetime budget is how much you will spend during the duration ofyour campaign. You can set what times of day you want youraudience to see these kinds of ads.

Schedule your ad to run continuously or set a start and end date fordaily budgeted ads. If you set your ad to run continuously, you canalways come back and turn it off in your Ads Manager later. Depending on the campaign you selected, you may need to useadvanced options. Since we are using Brand Awareness, we don’tneed it right now and we will click continue to get started creatingyour ad within your ad set.

Be sure to rename your Ad at the top of page. Choose “Create New Ad.” Select what page you want to use using the drop down menu orCreate a Facebook business page to move forward with this part ofthe process. Choose the Format of your ad.

Upload your photo. Insert text below to create ad copy. See a preview of your ad on the right-hand side, as long as yourFacebook page is connected. Click “Con rm” once you are done with your ad to send it to bereviewed by Facebook. The ad will be posted once it is approved.
