NEXT MEETING SATURDAY, December 12, 2015, 6 p.m. BRAEBURN COUNTRY CLUB
President’s Message
Reflecting on our past year moves me to callit a sacred time. As an organization we metand surpassed our professional goals in somany ways. Our outstanding monthlychapter meeting speakers presented on topicsas diverse as the dark side of the Internetused by terrorists, to the current politicalsituation in Latin America. Members haveparticipated in city-wide activities from the homeless Veteranstand-down to the Veterans Day Parade. Our talented andexperienced members have shared at each monthly meeting theirown military histories, which was most eye-opening as to howamazing is the wealth of military background in our chapter.
We continue to struggle with gaining new members but have hada good year in which more than two dozen new members havejoined our ranks. We welcome a new vice-president, DonWallin, who will be securing speakers for our meetings; and webid farewell to our secretary, Matt Mancuso, who did anoutstanding job for our association. I am incredibly proud of thework that every board member and elected official has done thispast year! Thank You one and All! To all the membership Ithank you for your continued service and commitment to ourcountry by attending and participating in chapter events.
I will close 2015 by wishing you and your loved ones a Happy,Prosperous, and Safe holiday season. Please keep our men andwomen deployed in harm's way in your thoughts and prayers aswe celebrate our bounty. It is because of them that we can rejoicein this season so freely. We must also remember those who camebefore us in our Houston Area Military Officers Association ofAmerica and secured this outstanding organization for us toenjoy, and especially those who have passed from our ranks.God Bless You All, and God Bless America!
