As an organization we met and surpassed our professional goals in so many ways. Our outstanding monthly chapter meeting speakers presented on topics as diverse as the dark side of the Internet used by terrorists, to the current political situation in Latin America. Members have participated in city-wide activities from the homeless Veteran stand-down to the Veterans Day Parade. Our talented and experienced members have shared at each monthly meeting their own military histories, which was most eye-opening as to how amazing is the wealth of military background in our chapter. We continue to struggle with gaining new members but have had a good year in which more than two dozen new members have joined our ranks. We welcome a new vice-president, Don Wallin, who will be securing speakers for our meetings; and we bid farewell to our secretary, Matt Mancuso, who did an outstanding job for our association. I am incredibly proud of the work that every board member and elected official has done this past year! Thank You one and All! To all the membership I thank you for your continued service and commitment to our country by attending and participating in chapter events. I will close 2015 by wishing you and your loved ones a Happy, Prosperous, and Safe holiday season. Please keep our men and women deployed in harm's way in your thoughts and prayers as we celebrate our bounty. It is because of them that we can rejoice in this season so freely. We must also remember those who came before us in our Houston Area Military Officers Association of America and secured this outstanding organization for us to enjoy, and especially those who have passed from our ranks.
