DAY 1COLCA - PUNO (-) (220 km - approx. 6 hours)After the visit to viewpoint ‘Cruz del Condor’ you say goodbye to the Colca Canyon. DAY 2PUNO – SUN ISLAND (BOLIVIA) - PUNO (B,L)Drive along the south side of Lake Titicaca to Copacabana (Bolivia). After arrival to the ancient shrine we visit its church and then board a catamaran to the mythic Sun Island. Visit to the Inti Wata Cultural Complex featuring the Ekeko Underground Museum and an interesting exhibition of Andean crops, medicinal herbs and Andean fauna. Our tour begins at the Mirador de Carmen Alto with a view of the Chilina valley and the Chili River. From Yanahuara we can photograph the imposing Misti volcano and the ‘White City‘ at its feet. Then we head to the Tambos. Built in the 18th century with white stone, the Tambos originally served as basic shelter for traders. Today the buildings are considered living museums of architecture. The next stop is at the museum of Santa Teresa Convent housing treasures of colonial art kept throughout its three centuries of existence. Our tour ends with a lunch at a genuine ‘picanteria’. Unpretentious but offering abundant, spicy and delicious food ‘picanterias’ are the place to discover Arequipa’s culinary essence.

Disfrute de un almuerzo en una hacienda de crianza de Caballo Peruano de Paso. Situado en el valle de Lurín, a 30 minutos de Lima, en la Hacienda Los Ficus podrá admirarlos en una exhibición que incluye una introducción sobre su historia y características. Esta raza es un símbolo de la identidad peruana y patrimonio nacional y se caracteriza por su peculiar paso. Introducido por los españoles durante la Colonia, el Caballo Peruano de Paso es considerado como el mejor caballo de silla debido a su suave galope. No se pierda la oportunidad de dar un paseo en uno de estos ejemplares cuyos orígenes se remontan a más de 400 años.

RESERVASPara confirmar una reserva requerimos la siguiente información:
