Hello, my name is Sugar Harn-den-Miller. I just want to share a little bit about my daughter Cheyen-neStarr Miller. Dewey Sr. & I are very proud of Cheyen-neStarr for

the big accomplishment of Graduating June 2015. As Cheyenne Starr’s Parents we are very PROUD of her. She is a very smart and intelligent young lady. She carries herself very well. We never have to worry about her or her choices that she is making. We love her and we support Cheyenne and we will help her in journey as she grows. Cheyenne is a very high spirited young lady. She has her mind set on how she wants herlifetogo,andsheisdefinitelyfollowingthrough with her goals.

CheyenneStarr struggled her Freshmen Year in high school. CheyenneStarr gradu-ated in January 2015 and walked with her Class at Chief Leschi High School June 2015. CheyenneStarr pulled herself up and got busy getting all her credits she needed in order to graduate on time with her class of 2015. She worked hard by, studying, putting together reports, attending school every day and she participated in the Most Summer Pro-gram at the Tribal College. Cheyenne also did everything that the school required her to do in order to get credits by doing student lead conferences, worked in afterschool activi-ties with the culture program, and servicing the community. Her grade point average was outstanding the last two years of High School. Cheyenne is a leader. She carries her Grandmother (Dossie Wynne) Indian name with great pride and with honor. She lives drug and alcohol free. She also believes in her Culture and carries out the ways of her upbringing in the beliefs of the old ways. Cheyenne has RESPECT for her elders; she respects people as long as they respect her. Cheyenne believes that education is the gateway to a better future.
