the movie Cecilia and her husband Monk. When she came back to the house,

shock because of about Monk. She made lots of mistakes so her owner got

The beginning of this picture is the fact that Cecilia goes to movie alone. This

movie called the purple rose of Cairo. Cecilia was absorbed in the purple rose of Cairo.

This movie is set in the Egypt. By the way, Cecilias husband is Monk, and he is very

bad man. Therefore, she tried to escape into movies world. Her sister and she worked

together in a diner, but she was fired by her boss because she failed in her works. After

that, she went to the theater. The purple rose of Cairo moved her injured heart.at that

time,surprisingly, the main character of this movie appeared in real world. He is tom

Baxter. The main characters in this movie had big panic because this movie

couldntprogress to the end of this picture. Tom and Cecilia escape from the theater and

go to the amusement park because he doesnt like in the movie world. He is very bored.

While Gil Shepherd who performed Tom Baxter found that Tom Baxter appeared in the

real world.Tom doesnt understand the difference between the movie world and the real

world, but Cecilia felt admiration for him, so she is in love with Tom. After that, Cecilia

went to a shop to buy two doughnuts for Tom. Gil met Cecilia by chance when he looks

for Tom in this shop. Gin asked Cecilialet him see Tom, and he met Tom. Gil urged Tom

to return to the movie but, Tom didnt return in the movie world. Then, Tom wants to

learn about the real world. Cecilia taught him about the god which made everything in

Then, Monk was coming to the church and he was going to take home with Cecilia, but

Tom stopped a quarrel.

movie together, but he liked playing with his friends rather than watching a movie with

his wife. After all, she went to a theatre to watch a movie called The Purple Rose of

Cairo.

In the movie The Purple Rose of Cairo, there are the upper class people who went to

Egypt for looking for something exciting, and they met Tom Baxter, an explorer in there.

Cecilia was totally involved with the exotic scenes of Egypt and lives of the New York

upper class people in the movie, and she could forget the harsh reality she faced. She

also came to like Tom Baxter, the fictitious character in the movie.

After watching the movie, when she came back to reality, Cecilia witnessed her

husband Monk was enjoying with another woman playing card game in her house, and

she decided to leave him. In the midnight, however, there were any other places to go

for Cecilia, so she came back her house miserably. What makes the matter worse, the

next day, Cecilia who has made a lot of mistakes as a waitress, finally got fired.

Now, Cecilia is facing with harsher reality than yesterday, so she went to a theatre,

and watched The Purple Rose of Cairo again and again. She was crying at first, but as

time goes by, her tears dried for she was totally involved with the movie.

When Cecilia watched the movie for 5 times, an unbelievable thing happened. Tom

Baxter in the screen recognized Cecilia, and he came out from the screen to talk to

Cecilia. The audiences were frightened at the sight, and they couldnt believe what they

were seeing. The other fictitious characters in the film were embarrassed as well as the

audiences. After running out the theatre, Cecilia and Tom went to a deserted

amusement park to conceal themselves. Cecilia persuaded Tom to go back into the film,

but Tom wanted to stay in the reality.

At the same time, in Hollywood, Gil Shepherd who starred as Tom Baxter in ThePurple Rose of Cairo was giving an interview to a journalist in a party. He didn t have

any idea of Toms unpredictable act, but after hearing the news, he left for New York

immediately.

Meanwhile, fictitious Tom made Cecilia embarrassed by using fake money and trying

to drive a car without a car key. They narrowly escaped from some accidents, came back

to the amusement park and the mood turned to be romantic. Tom confessed his love to

Cecilia. Cecilia liked him too, but she already married, and Tom is not a real character.

The next day, Cecilia was buying doughnuts for Tom who was still hiding in the

amusement park, and met REAL Tom, Gil Shepherd by accident. Mistaking him for

fictitious Tom she already knew, Cecilia gave him the doughnuts. Gil became suspicious

of Cecilias behavior, so he introduced himself as REAL Tom Baxter, Gil Shepherd, andasked to bring him to Tom.

When Cecilia brought Gil to Tom, Gil demanded that Tom should go back into the

screen, but Tom assumed a firm attitude.

In the screen, the cast talk about how continue the movie does together.Tom and Cecilia come to the amusement park which pretty dead tills

summer, so nobody around there. Tom is very hungry and Cecilia has

popcorn and milky ways. So she gives him popcorn because he wants to

eat popcorn. While eating, he tells her that he often watch her when he is

in a movie.

He is actor named Gil Shephard who plays Tom Baxter. Hes agent tells

him that Tom Baxters come down off the screen, and he cannotunderstand then.

They drink at club and he is to pay in his cash, but his money is fake

money. Then, they make a run for it and get on the car at nearby club, but

it is not their car. So it does not work, because the car cannot work

without a key. He does not know that.

They get back the amusement park and their mood becomeromantic.

Cecilia goes to a coffee shop and buys two doughnuts and a coffee for Tom.

In there, she meets Gil shephard by chance but she mistakes him for Tom,

she is surprised what he is in there and gives him doughnuts and a coffee.

and she decides to bring him but she says It is secret. He can meet Tom

and asks him to get back the movie. But Tom tells him that he does notwant to get back again, he wants to enjoy the real world.

Tom goes many where to learn the real world with Cecilia.

They go a church. Tom comesto a church first time. He is fascinated the

Tom and Monk get into a fight over Cecilia, and they beat each other.

As a result, Tom fells down on the floor but Cecilia does not go with Monk.

She praises of his bravery because he stand up to Monk.

The scene change the amusement park, Tom is in there alone. Suddenly a

woman named Emma speaks to Tom. She thinks wonder that he wearing

like a movie costume, and she interests in him. She suggests to him that

he comes with her to her job place. He responds yes, because he wants to

This is a movei that Cecilia watching. It is The Purple Rose of Cairo. A man in

the screen who is Tom Baxter. He is a movie character.

Cecilia and her husband Monk offten have quarreled about various

cause such as money, life , depression...etc.Cecilia was run away from home for

a argument with Monk.

Cecilia and her sister Jane. They works as a waitress in a diner.

Cecilia want Monk to go to the theater together but Monk's answer was "

No " so, she goes to the movies alone.

Umbilievable!! Tom out from the screen! Tom like Cecilia. He takes her

hand and go out. People in the screen who were panic. They never have

that the exchange which is looked at by his movie and which is full of humor

is just because he is a comedian. My favorite film is Crimes and

interesting. Most my favorite character is Cecelia.Becauce, I am a sense of

closeness sprang very much to her.Cecelia is deceived and betrayed by Gil

which should resist itself Tom which said the husband and it was not only

treated like, but liked itself, then must have been got.

If it looks at in this way, she will try to finish, while he has been an unhappy

human being, althoughshe is very pure.If it has finished while it is deceived

by Gil, this movie will finish with a foolish her talk with sad. But The movie

Crime and MisdemeanorsandMelinda and Melinda.The Purple Rose

of Cairowas very interesting for me. Because Woody Allens movie was use

my brain every time. This movie has got power that people of watching movie.

But unfortunately, Woody Allen was not appeared this movie.I like his acting.

So I was regret that Woody Allen didntappear.

At first, I want to pay attention Cecilia. She was heroine at this movie. I

think she wasstupid. Becauseher husband Monk, he was out of work. But he

was idling his life away. In spite of he gets money from Cecilia. And he was

idle this money. But she didnt complain about Monk. Then, she enjoyed

watching movie. So I think she was pure and honest. However, I thought
