MISSION STATEMENT

The Home Builders Association of Central Michigan, chartered in 1966 and affiliated with both the Michigan and National Association of Home Builders,

represents and addresses the concerns of the building industry. We are committed to serving our members and the community through members services, education,

political and community involvement.

Recognized as the voice of the building industry, this association promotes ethical practices and strives to provide safe and affordable housing.

CODE OF ETHICS

Our paramount responsibility is to our customers, our community and our country.

Honesty is our guiding business policy.

High standards of health, safety and sanitation shall be built in every home.

Members shall deal fairly with their respective employees, sub-contractors and suppliers.

As members of a progressive industry, we encourage research to develop new materials, new build-ing techniques, new building equipment and improved methods of home financing, to the end that

every home purchaser may get the greatest value possible for every dollar.

All sound legislative proposals affecting our industry and the people we serve shall have our in-formed and vigorous support.

We hold inviolate the free enterprise system and the American Way of Life. We pledge our support to our associates, our local, state and national associations and all related industries concerned with

the preservation of legitimate rights and freedoms.

We assume these responsibilities freely and solemnly mindful that they are part of the obligation as members of the Home Builders Association of Central Michigan.

Welcome to the Home Builders Association of Central Michigan

I would like to personally invite you to join an organization important to the housing and construction industry, the Home Builders Association of Central Michigan (HBACM).

The HBACM is comprised of Builder and Associate members who all have a stake in the industry that sustains us all. We are dedicated to supporting, strengthening and promoting the importance of the job we all do. Homeownership is the American dream and directly affects the economic health and growth of our country.
